News - Yemen: The Yemeni Armed Forces announced the execution of two significant military operations in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea, which, they report, lasted for eight hours and successfully achieved their objectives.

The attack was reportedly carried out while the U.S. forces were preparing for hostile operations against Yemeni territory. According to the statement, Yemeni forces successfully thwarted the U.S. attempt at an aerial assault on Yemen.

The second operation, conducted in the Red Sea, targeted two U.S. destroyers with missile and drone strikes. The Yemeni Armed Forces hold the United States and Britain accountable for turning the Red Sea into a militarized zone, with implications for international navigation in the region.

The Yemeni Armed Forces framed the operations as a response to perceived U.S. and British efforts to defend Israel, suggesting that these actions are aligned with broader regional tensions. The military warned that it would continue to carry out such operations until the blockade on Gaza is lifted, aggression against Gaza ceases, and attacks on Lebanon come to an end.

The statement concluded with a declaration that the Yemeni forces would sustain their operations if these demands are not met, underscoring the potential for escalating tensions across multiple fronts in the region.

Since the onset of Israel’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip in October 2023, the Yemeni forces have carried out scores of operations in support of the war-hit Gazans, striking targets throughout the occupied Palestinian territories, in addition to targeting Israeli ships or vessels heading towards ports in the occupied territories.

Israel launched the war on Gaza on October 7, 2023 after the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas waged the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity in response to the Israeli regime's decades-long campaign of bloodletting and devastation against Palestinians.

The regime’s bloody onslaught on Gaza has so far killed at least 43,665 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured more than 103,076 others. Thousands more are also missing and presumed dead under rubble.

Israel has also been targeting Lebanon since October 2023, when it launched a genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.

Since late September, the regime has escalated its strikes on Lebanon, killing hundreds of people.

Lebanon’s Hezbollah resistance movement has been responding to the aggression with numerous retaliatory operations, targeting the occupied Palestinian territories.
