News - Yemen: Al-Masirah Media Network has mourned Haj Mohammad Afif, the head of Media Relations in Hezbollah, who attained martyrdom on the path to Al-Quds along with several of his comrades following a treacherous Israeli aggression.

The network extended its condolences and congratulations to Hezbollah’s leadership, members, the media community, and the families and comrades of the martyr. It emphasized that this cowardly and treacherous Zionist crime reflects the bankruptcy of the Israeli enemy and its inability to confront the voice of truth.

Al-Masirah highlighted that Martyr Afif was a bold and resonant voice, especially during the darkest times of his years leading Hezbollah's media relations. It affirmed that his martyrdom would not hinder the delivery of Hezbollah's truthful message to its intended audiences.

The network also underscored that Haj Mohammad Afif’s martyrdom would not sever Hezbollah's media relations with free and honorable media outlets worldwide. It stated that the blood of the loyal serves as fuel to continue the journey of media jihad and to inspire dedication within the responsible media community.

Hezbollah confirmed his assassination, praising his efforts in countering Israeli propaganda and amplifying the voice of resistance, especially during Israeli bombardments targeting Beirut’s southern suburbs.

The attack is part of a broader Israeli offensive against Lebanon, which escalated in September alongside the Gaza conflict. Over the past year, at least 3,287 people have been killed, primarily in the last seven weeks, with women and children making up most casualties in Israeli strikes in Lebanon. Another 14,222 have been wounded.

In retaliation, Hezbollah has launched hundreds of strikes against Israeli forces and positions in occupied Palestinian territories. The movement has vowed to continue its resistance until Israel de-escalates its aggression.
