I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the outcast.
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
Praise is to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. I believe that there is no god but Allah, the Sovereign and the Manifest Truth, and that Muhammad, our master, is His servant, Messenger, and Last Prophet.
O Allah, confer Your salat and blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad as You conferred Your salat and blessings upon Ibrahim and the Family of Ibrahim. You are Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory! And be pleased with Muhammad's good companions and all Your righteous servants and mujahidin.
Brothers and sisters, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
Since we are currently observing the anniversary of the martyr, commemorated by our dear Muslim people starting from the beginning of Jumada Al-Awwal until the 19th of the same month, I will specify one part of this weekly speech to speak about this significant, great occasion. Although we strive to prioritise several important objectives each year through this occasion, the concepts of jihad and martyrdom are fundamental parts of our culture, principles, and beliefs and always receive attention, considering the jihadist, faith-based orientation of our dear people. In addition, we never stop sacrificing martyrs: In the jihadist march of our dear people, hardly a week goes by without some of our people being martyred. We never cease speaking about martyrs, as our dear people embark on this path of faith and jihad. There is also an authority and other bodies dedicated to the welfare of the families of the martyrs, alongside public support within the framework of collective faith responsibility. However, during this occasion, there is typically a heightened focus on three main points:
This occasion comes as we witness these significant events and changes and coincides with our dear people's effort to support the Palestinian people and the Lebanese people against the brutal and criminal Israeli aggression. This aggression targets both Palestine and Lebanon and commits acts of genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. In this great position and in the Battle of Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad, our dear people sacrifice martyrs for the sake of Allah and make an effort on all fronts, including the military, political, and media fronts and through spending for the sake of Allah. They take action within the framework of fulfilling their duty in jihad for the sake of Allah, supporting the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples and their dear mujahidin.
Since the very first day of our Quranic march, we have had martyrs at every stage, maintaining the same position we hold now against the same enemy: the Israelis and the Americans. The drive in this is a Quranic, faith-based drive, given our dear people's belonging to Islam and their authentic, deeply rooted faith identity, expressed by the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&F) in his saying, 'The belief is that of the Yemenites, and sagacity is that of the Yemenites.'
The important feature of the Quranic march is the Quranic project and acting in accordance with this project. The martyr of the Quran, Al-Sayyid Hussein Badruddin Al-Houthi (May Allah be pleased with him), was a pure Quranic voice. He moved forward with the Quranic project during a crucial and sensitive phase. That was at a time when the enemies of the Ummah (followers of the Zionist project and its American and Israeli arms, along with those who aligned with them) sought to impose their choice on our Islamic Ummah, amidst an official acceptance in the Arab reality and in many Islamic countries, with some limited exceptions.
When the then-President of America George W. Bush moved forward and announced two exclusive options, addressing everyone by saying, 'Either you are with us, or you are against us.' In other words, they are against anyone who is not with them. This is the essence of the message: They are against anyone who is not with them.
What this fellowship means for the Ummah (both the peoples and the governments) is different than what it means for others: For those non-Muslims, it means having a fellowship with America and Israel in supporting the Zionist project as sponsors, partners, backers, and supporters in every way possible. Indeed, some made efforts at various levels, such as the military, financial, and political levels. However, for our Ummah, it is the primary target of that project and that assault. In fact, it is the nation that is being targeted. To have fellowship with them while belonging to this Ummah means being against your own Ummah, peoples, religion, independence, and freedom. That is because the Zionist project, in which the Americans and Israelis are involved, is an aggressive project against our Ummah, confiscating the freedom and independence of peoples, seizing lands, taking away rights, killing the members of the Ummah, and degrading this Ummah, to name just a few. It is a threat and an aggression against the Ummah, its identity and faith, its independence and freedom, its lands and resources, among other things. This issue is clear.
Actually, acceptance from those who belong to this Ummah (whether the governments or the peoples) means surrender; it means being with your enemy, the one who targets you and your Ummah and who wants you to be merely a tool to assist and serve it in what constitutes a threat to you and to your Ummah. To have fellowship with them means to accept losing your freedom and independence. It also means to accept a role in which you are merely a submissive tool, subjecting yourself, your capabilities, and your country's resources to serve and empower an enemy, especially when you hold a position of responsibility, all while that enemy ultimately takes everything from you. This reflects profound foolishness and means loss in every sense of the word. Thus, the Holy Quran affirms this fact, as it states, {'Whoever takes them as Auliya becomes one of them. Surely, Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people. So you see those in whose hearts is a sickness hastening into [association with] them, saying, "We are afraid a misfortune may strike us." But perhaps Allah will bring conquest or a decision from Him, and they will become, over what they have been concealing within themselves, regretful. And those who believe will say, "Are these the ones who swore by Allah their strongest oaths that they were with you?" Their deeds have gone to waste, and they became losers'}[Al-Ma'idah 5:51-53]—regretful and losers. This is the Quranic truth that Allah has emphasised, as He knows the unseen and the witnessed and is aware of what lies within hearts. This is the inevitable outcome for those who choose to respond to the American [former president] when he said, 'with us'. As I mentioned, what this means for those who belong to this Ummah is different than what it means for others. For Europeans and other countries who join the Americans, 'with us' may mean something else: partners. On the other hand, for the Arabs and Muslims, whether they are Arab or not, the matter is entirely different.
As for being against them, this also means a lot, especially when you are a Muslim and belong to this Ummah targeted by the Americans and Israelis:
This is in addition to other things that fall within the framework of the American-Israeli programme and the Zionist project aimed at this Ummah.
Hence, choosing between the options of opposition or fellowship has been—and remains—very important. Indeed, the Americans want you to be in the position they desire for you; otherwise, if you are not in the position they want for you, which is undoubtedly one of surrender, they will consider you in opposition to their programme, project, movement, and objectives.
Therefore, it is very important for one to make a choice and take a position, as this is a decisive matter in this world and the Hereafter. Among the most crucial aspects that should be considered and taken into account in making a choice and determining a position is the principle behind that choice and position because this is an extremely serious, important, and profound matter.
That is why the martyr of the Quran, Al-Sayyid Hussein Badruddin Al-Houthi (May Allah be pleased with him), was keen to ensure that the movement was Quranic in nature and that the choice and position were aligned with the Holy Quran (the teachings of Allah, the Almighty) and according to a Quranic project he presented and took as a foundation for his movement while adhering to principles, ethics, and faith. He moved forward within this framework and urged the Ummah to do the same, because one of the gravest dangers that threaten the Ummah arises when some people make their choices and take their position without regard for principles, values, ethics, the Holy Quran, or the principles of this great Islam to which we, as a Muslim Ummah, belong. The issue then becomes as if one could hold an opinion that is disconnected from principles, ethics, and values and instead falls under a single heading: interests—political and economic interests viewed from a completely misguided perspective. What interest does our Ummah have in devoting itself, its resources, its capabilities, and everything it has to the benefit of enemies? They are the ones who harbour malevolence against it, have no respect for it, do not even recognise its place within human society or even regard its people as human beings, and deny it the right to life, to existence, to independence, and to freedom, among other rights. To them, Arabs are not regarded as human beings entitled to human rights and the other concepts they discuss. Thus, what interest could there possibly be in dedicating yourself to the service of a malicious, criminal, corrupting, tyrannical, and arrogant enemy that makes you lose both your worldly life and Hereafter when you dedicate yourself and your capabilities to it? What interest is there in that? There is no benefit whatsoever. But this is indeed a very serious matter of utmost importance.
Unfortunately, most Arab regimes have become entangled in the choice of fellowship: They declared their fellowship with America and allied themselves with it, although they are fully aware that their countries, peoples, and even themselves are targeted. In fact, they aligned themselves with it, opening everything up to it—they opened their lands to American military bases and stuck to America's dictates and instructions in their policies and positions. They also moved to other areas to make sure that everything goes in line with America's instructions, directives, and orders, including educational policies, media policies, religious discourse, and more. This is indeed a catastrophe and disaster, and they realise that what matters to America is to subjugate the peoples of our Ummah—it targets both the governments and peoples, as it seeks to subjugate governments, armies, and peoples to serve Israeli interests. This is because Israel is America's exclusive agent and true partner. Both America and Israel are tied to the Zionist project and work together to execute it. This is a tragedy in every sense of the word, and it is indeed a very critical matter.
The Americans did not act merely to secure their interests in the region; their interests are protected by rulers, armies, and regimes that were committed to providing them with everything and allowing them to have the lion's share even at the expense of their oppressed, wronged, and suffering peoples. Indeed, their interests were safeguarded by those rulers who allowed them to take whatever they wanted and plunder as much as they liked. However, the American endeavor went beyond that securing their interests as to seek to have direct control and subjugate this region with its peoples, countries, governments, and regimes for the benefit of the Israeli enemy: The Americans wanted the Israeli enemy to be their exclusive agent, completely controlling the reality of what they call the Middle East, Western Asia. This is a tragedy and a very serious issue that poses a significant threat to our Ummah in both its faith and worldly affairs.
The martyr of the Quran, Al-Sayyid Hussein Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi (May Allah be pleased with him), moved with the Quranic project as his choice against America and Israel and the Zionist project, based on a Quranic and principled perspective. Although he was a pure Quranic voice—he moved with wisdom and sound judgment, taking successful and wise practical steps aimed at awakening the peoples of our Ummah, spreading Quranic awareness among them, and practically mobilising them to disassociate themselves from their enemies, protest against what those enemies do, and work according to a comprehensive practical vision. Even though the choice and voice were Quranic, the ruling regimes, due to their connection with America against their own peoples and Ummah, unfortunately, went so far as to act according to American dictates to silence this voice and to work to prevent any movement within the Ummah against American control, American and Israeli hegemony, and the Zionist project: They [these regimes] devoted themselves to preventing and defaming any movement that was known to be conscious, mature, insightful, wise, serious and follow correct principles. That is because the Americans want to subjugate this Ummah so that it becomes submissive, with no movements that could obstruct them or hinder any of those agendas and projects they and their Israeli partner pursue. They want the arena to be completely open for them, without any obstacles whatsoever.
Since the targeting of our Quranic march through military wars and aggression, starting with the six wars and the events that occurred between them, then the American-Saudi aggression, up to this comprehensive battle where our dear Yemeni Muslim people directly confront the enemies of this Ummah (the American, Israeli, and British enemies), the significance of the Quranic project and the Quranic choice has manifested and continues to manifest at every phase. That is because the Quranic project builds the Ummah in its awareness, insight, maturity, and wisdom, as well as in its spiritual morale in order to be able to fulfil and sense its responsibilities, and carry out its Quranic religious and faith-based duties. It is the only choice that benefits the Ummah in confronting its enemies and dealing with the threats it faces—whether in Palestine, Lebanon, in any Muslim country in Arab lands and beyond. Indeed, this is something that has manifested. The tyranny and aggression faced by this Quranic movement did not break the will of those who embraced this movement. Those people—who placed their trust in Allah (the Almighty), acted on the basis of His guidance and teachings, moving with Quranic insight and awareness and carrying the spirit of faith and jihad—have remained steadfast in confronting all challenges and difficulties, leading to this noble and great position taken by our dear people.
In contrast, when we consider the reality of our Islamic Ummah as a whole, what is holding back the Ummah of two billion Muslims? Some Muslim peoples exceed 200 million, and there are those peoples who exceed 100 million. Additionally, some peoples neighbouring Palestine are large and possess extremely enormous capabilities. In the Arab world, the total number of these peoples is very significant, over 250 million Arab Muslims. What is holding [the peoples of] this Ummah back from adopting the right position in supporting the Palestinian people against an enemy that is an enemy to all of them and an enemy to what concerns them all, considering their responsibilities towards the sanctities in Palestine, towards the Palestinian people (who are part of them), and towards the land of Palestine, which is part of this large homeland of Arabs and the homeland of Islam and Muslims? What binds this Ummah is that it lacks insight and does not have any of it. In fact, it needs insight; it is in desperate need of Quranic insight, Quranic awareness, light, guidance, morale, and a sense of responsibility to act according to a correct, practical vision. Hence, what holds it back is not lack of numbers or lack of capabilities. On the contrary, the capabilities of this Ummah are extremely enormous. If these capabilities are united, what the Israeli enemy possesses would equal nothing. Moreover, if this Ummah makes efforts as it should, it will receive the care, help, and support of Allah, Who is the Lord of the worlds, the Strong One, the All-Mighty, the King of the heavens and the earth.
When we observe the state of weakness, helplessness, and feebleness of this Ummah (which is large in terms of its population, geography, and capabilities) in the face of this great test regarding what is happening in Palestine, we understand the importance of awakening the peoples of the Ummah and seeking to spread awareness and insight and to strengthen the spirit of faith and jihad that can revive this Ummah and help it rise to become effective. The threat is not only aimed at the Palestinian people; it targets this Ummah as a whole. Its current state is part of the problem itself because it emboldens its enemies, who are hateful and greedy. Their greed and avarice are extremely intense. When they see the Ummah in such a situation, they think that one would be foolish, naive, and stupid not to exploit this situation: not to benefit from this opportunity to act against an ummah they covet what it possesses and, at the same time, harbour the most severe malevolence towards. They view this as an opportunity to settle scores with it and to distance it from every element of strength that can revive it.
When the Ummah enjoys a spirit of jihad with insight and awareness, beginning with recognising who the true enemy of this Ummah is—that is, to recognise that the enemies are America, Israel, and the Zionist project and that the enemy of this Ummah is the one whom Allah has clearly identified in the Quran as our enemy when He said, {'You will surely find the most bitter towards the believers to be the Jews and those who associate others with Allah'}[Al-Ma'idah 5:82]. In so many verses, Allah has made clear the depth of their animosity towards us, {'Their only desire is to see you suffer. Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, and what their breasts conceal is greater'}[Ali 'Imran 3:118]. Reality even bears witness to this truth, as they strive to annihilate the people of this Ummah. What they are doing in Palestine could be repeated in any other country.
The practices the Americans previously committed in Iraq, as well as in Afghanistan—such practices that involve exterminating hundreds of thousands of the Muslim Iraqi people, violating honour and dignity, raping women and men, plundering resources, and gaining control over everything—can happen to any other country. The Israelis could also do this with the Americans within the framework of the Zionist project aiming to reshape this entire region. They even declare that openly. Netanyahu himself says that he wants to reshape the face of what they call the Middle East, which they use to refer to the entirety of the Arab world. And they chant 'Death to Arabs.'
In the face of this challenge and threat, when our Ummah moves forward with the spirit of jihad based on Quranic awareness and insight—understanding who its enemy is and standing against it—it can, then, achieve protection and reach a state of strength and might. It is then that it understands the importance of all elements of power and strives to attain them. It will also work to change its reality, to rectify its situation, and to build itself; take the right positions that contribute to enhancing its capabilities; and strive to confront the enemy instead of becoming a tool in its hands and working against itself for the enemy's interests. Hence, the choice is one of two:
One of the most important benefits of the spirit of jihad that drives the Ummah, while being fully aware of the great threats, is that it elevates the Ummah to the level of confronting the challenge without concern for the might that the enemy possesses and without hesitation or fear. Our Ummah needs to free itself from fear. Fear of America and Israel is an extremely dangerous state, for it provides no protection for the Ummah as it leads to surrender, instead of pushing the Ummah to be cautious, to take a stand, and to take counteraction. Indeed, it is the fear that instills panic and terror and forces many people of this Ummah (both at official and public levels) to surrender, submit, obey, follow American agendas and American and Israeli conspiracies, and ultimately serve America and Israel. This is a very dangerous state, for it offers no protection to the Ummah from anything: It does not protect its faith nor its worldly affairs and does not help it achieve peace at all. Indeed, it will not bring peace, nor will it safeguard dignity, honour, independence, freedom, or anything else. This is because those [enemies] have ambitions that exceed the imagination of all those who consider such defeatist and submissive options. They want to take everything, and they harbour such malevolence and ill-feelings that they will not allow any member of this Ummah to be in a good or even normal condition—even a normal condition! Even if such a member does not have any hostile attitude towards them, they will not leave him alone!
Consider, for example, what they do in Sudan. Although there is no strong, prominent, active movement in Sudan at this stage that openly opposes America and Israel, they know that the Sudanese people are still true to those principles and attitudes they held in the past and were in line with the natural, right position regarding boycotting, rejecting submission to America and Israel, and longing for freedom and dignity. Despite having control over Sudan through their tools, they refuse to let the Sudanese people deal with their own situation without planning conspiracies against them. Indeed, they drain Sudan with endless issues, conflicts, and wars. And this is what they could do in any other country: to exhaust this Ummah, strike it in various ways, drown it in unending problems and crises, exploit it in other conflicts, settling scores with other rivals, including China in the future and others. Thus, they are truly enemies of this Ummah.
Therefore, the option of jihad for the sake of Allah according to a Quranic vision and project, is a wise choice. This is why we see our dear people at this stage moving forward with great courage because they place their trust in Allah (the Almighty), believe in His promises, and are driven by their faith and Quranic perspective. Hence, they have taken the right position, made the right choice, and turned to perform jihad for the sake of Allah to support the Palestinian people in this great battle and in the light of the current events, despite the magnitude of challenges and fears that affected many nations and regimes.
As for the martyrs, they represent a great and distinguished school of morals, values, and principles. Remembering them sharpens resolve, boosts the spirit of jihad, and revives consciences. This is why remembering them, their lives, and their stories, as well as the material produced about their lives, positions, and memories leaves great impact on the souls.
The martyrs came from all segments of society and all groups, including religious scholars, farmers, merchants, peasants, teachers, and students, as well as from the youth and the elderly—they came from various segments of the society. They set out with a spirit of faith and sacrifice for the sake of Allah (the Almighty) and attained martyrdom with all its profound value of drawing closer to Allah (the Almighty) and enjoying the divine honour and exalted status in the sight of Allah, as He said in the Holy Quran, {'And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger—those will be with the ones upon whom Allah has bestowed favour of the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs, and the righteous. And excellent are those as companions'}[An-Nisa 4:69]. This is a lofty status. They also attain honour and a happy life, as Allah says about them in the Holy Quran, {'Never think of those killed in the cause of Allah as dead. In fact, they are alive with their Lord, well provided for'}[Ali 'Imran 3:169]. It is indeed a happy and great life.
This is in addition to the rewards that Allah writes for them as a result of the contributions and sacrifices they made for the sake of the sacred and just cause they pursued and supported through upholding the truth, eliminating falsehood, and establishing divine principles that protect Allah's servants, safeguard people, and shield the Ummah from the evil of its wicked, criminal enemies, who follow the dark and satanic path. The allies of Satan engage in what is evil, corruption, tyranny, criminality, and injustice. Therefore, the confrontation between us and them is within this context: They are dark-minded, criminal, and wicked and align themselves with Satan, while we act based on divine principles and values (which are the values of truth, goodness, and justice), enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, standing up to corruption, and confronting criminality and tyranny.
Regarding the families of the martyrs:
This is regarding this topic, and we will continue the discussion on jihad, martyrdom, and martyrs at the conclusion of this anniversary, Allah willing.
Regarding the current developments, for four hundred and five days in which the Palestinian people and the Lebanese people have suffered from Israeli and American aggression, for four hundred and five days of passivity shown by Arab and Islamic countries (except for a few limited exceptions), four hundred and five days of Palestinian steadfastness, as well as the remarkable Lebanese resilience, and the steadfastness of the fronts of support—the Israeli enemy has been continuing and even escalating its criminality.
At this phase, the Israeli enemy has devised a new plan in northern Gaza that shows greater criminality and bloodthirsty in committing genocide against the residents of northern Gaza, even surpassing the horrific crimes it commits in the rest of Gaza. It sticks to all those criminal methods it has been following on a daily basis:
Despite the fact that the picture is clear to the entire world, seen by most nations, people, and international organisations, there has been no serious action taken. This is because the Americans are complicit in all these crimes, and for their sake, most countries remain silent and unwilling to even take non-military measures, such as political or economic boycotts, except for a few countries that have elevated their response to the level of severing relations or taking similar measures. This has emboldened the Israeli enemy, and what has emboldened it more is the position of most Arab and Islamic countries. This is a clear truth; they have not even adopted the minimum required position that is their duty and falls within their religious, humanitarian, ethical, and national responsibilities—in every respect.
They did not even take any simple position, as certain regimes and rulers insist on maintaining their political and economic relations with the Israeli enemy. There are also these regimes and rulers who have even enhanced their economic ties through shipments of goods sent to the Israeli enemy during this critical time. These include Arab regimes, as well as some non-Arab Islamic countries. Their commercial shipments to the Israeli enemy have multiplied, carrying goods, food supplies, and more. This is truly regrettable!
The horrific crimes carried out by the Israeli enemy in Gaza and against the Lebanese people are shameful for all countries that remain silent and do not take a correct and strong position, especially for Arabs and Muslims—indeed, it is so for those who remain silent, complicit, and passive.
Moreover, the official Arab and Islamic action by some Arab and Islamic countries, under the title of the Arab-Islamic Summit, which took place recently, had highly disappointing outcomes. One cannot but feel sorry for the reality of the Ummah when he sees such outcomes of a summit held by Arabs and Muslims and attended by many of his leaders; what were its outcomes at such a critical time?!
At a time when the Palestinian people are enduring severe suffering in a phase that is the harshest and the tyranny, criminality, and aggression of the Israeli enemy are at their peak—as it commits acts of genocide, blocks food, medicine, and water from reaching Palestinians, besieging them in every way, and completely destroying cities, villages, and towns in Gaza, with American participation in all of this—what were the outcomes of this summit?!
In reality, this was unsurprising—not to the Palestinian people, nor to the people of our Ummah, nor to friends or enemies. This was, in fact, what we expected: that most of the leaders in the Islamic world would gather at a major summit to issue a statement, in which they would represent their countries and peoples—over fifty countries in total. And what was the result? They issued a statement, and not even a strongly worded one. It was nothing more than a statement of demands. It was as if we, as a nation of two billion Muslims, were completely powerless! Can you imagine a state of helplessness worse than this? That a nation of two billion Muslims is presented as if they cannot do anything at all, cannot take any concrete action, cannot implement any practical steps, and can only issue statements of demands to others? Demands to whom? To the Americans, who are partners in all of these crimes, a clear enemy of this Ummah, moving with full conviction in the Zionist project, striving to implement it, and providing all those bombs that have killed tens of thousands of Palestinian children and women, and that kill the people of Lebanon! Are you waiting for them to take steps on your behalf? Or for the British regime, who originally brought the Zionist gangs to Palestine? Or the French regime, or the Germans, or any of those countries? What do you expect from those who do not share your principles, values, or interests, and who do not care about your homeland? Are you expecting from any country outside the Islamic world—whether it be China, Russia, or any other country—to be more concerned with matters that impact you, to care more about repelling a threat that endangers you or an enemy that targets you? Others will not see themselves as more concerned with your conditions and issues or what threatens you than you are. This is a tragedy in every sense of the word!
Even though those who gathered at the summit are aware that their position is the one that has been repeated for a long time, for decades—in the face of such an escalation, which is greater at this stage than in any previous one—they simply repeat the same position: launching initiatives. Even those initiatives involve recognising four-fifths of Palestine for the Israeli enemy! This is the meaning of the two-state solution. They offer free concessions, giving away four-fifths of Palestine to the Israeli enemy without any outcome. Indeed, they are certain that their actions, which amount to nothing more than issuing a statement of demands, will neither benefit the Palestinian people in any way nor achieve anything for them. Those who gathered themselves understand this, as some of them even acknowledged it in their speeches. Even so, they are acting in this manner and will continue to do so. In the face of every threat that targets this Ummah or any of its peoples and that reaches even the level of the current situation in Palestine, they can offer nothing more than this, if they act at all. That is, this is the maximum extent they can go: convening to issue a statement urging others to take action. As for this Ummah, it seems incapable of doing anything beyond making demands—mere demands in speeches. However, what they do, or what some of them do for the enemy (Israel) goes far beyond issuing statements: It includes economic and tourism relations, media collaboration, and practical efforts here or there, in one form or another. This is deeply unfortunate!
This highlights the importance of peoples becoming aware of the reality they live in, for they are all under threat! What is happening to the Palestinian people would result in the same situation if it were to happen to any other people. Indeed, this underscores the need for people to awaken and take action to fulfil their responsibilities.
No action or practical step was taken at this summit to support the Palestinian people, not even at a very minimal level: no economic, political, or media boycott of the Israeli enemy, no humanitarian support for the Palestinian people, no designation of the Israeli enemy as a terrorist entity, an enemy, or a criminal, and no action to revoke the poor designation that many Arab regimes have declared against our fellow mujahidin in Palestine and Hezbollah, labelling them as terrorist organisations. Additionally, there was no action that could irritate the enemies, influence them, or reflect a serious approach and real movement. In fact, this summit was completely devoid of any of that! It did not even open the door for the peoples to take action. For example, the official authorities could have announced their inability to do anything and that they are allowing the peoples to take action if they wished. This is extremely regrettable!
Moreover, some of the statements included negative and bad phrases. One of America’s proxies, who has no legal authority at all, introduced himself as a representative of Yemen to express his solidarity with the Israeli enemy and to reject the operations undertaken by Yemen, both officially and by the public, to support the Palestinian people: these naval operations that aim to prevent the Israeli enemy from moving in the Red Sea and navigating through the Bab Al-Mandab strait.
This is true for these summits, as the ones participating in them are those who do not play any active role in protecting the Ummah. This is a negative situation that emboldens the enemies to take advantage. This is not how countries are defended, nor is this how aggression is repelled! No nation on earth responds to what an enemy does with nothing more than a statement; this is something that does not happen anywhere else in the world. Yet, the Americans want this to be the case among Muslims: If the situation reaches a point where a people are being exterminated, a country is occupied, sanctities are violated, and rights are confiscated, the official response should not go beyond issuing a statement urging others to pay attention or to take action, although others do not see themselves concerned with what is happening to this Ummah. It is not their nation and not considered as their concern, so they will not bother to take any action for it.
At the same time, the mujahidin in the Gaza Strip of Palestine, the free people of this Ummah, remain resilient and steadfast. Although they are abandoned and face defamation and a hostile media war waged against them by some Arab regimes, they persist in their jihad for the sake of Allah and confront the Israeli enemy, despite their very limited resources and the ongoing siege they face. After all this time, as the Israeli enemy expected them to be on the verge of total collapse, they continue to operate with remarkable effectiveness, great faith-driven steadfastness, and immense courage.
In Lebanon as well, the mujahidin of Hezbollah and the Lebanese resistance show tremendous resilience and high effectiveness in confronting the enemy. They are inflicting defeats after defeats on the Israeli enemy in what it calls a 'ground operation'. Every day, the enemy fails, struggles, and suffers losses and defeats. The missile and drone attacks carried out by Hezbollah are continuously escalating, reaching what the enemy refers to as Tel Aviv and even the occupied city of Jaffa.
Some officials from Lebanon and Arab countries speak about remaining neutral, claiming it is the solution for our countries. But to remain neutral regarding what?! Regarding a cause that directly affects you?! The Israeli enemy operates under the Zionist project that confiscates your land, strips away your freedom and dignity, erases your identity, and targets you whether you like it or not—you have no option. How can you remain neutral while this involves you, your religion, your people, and your homeland?! This is not an issue that concerns others, allowing you to dissociate yourself from it. Rather, it is your issue, whether you like it or not, and it involves the entire Ummah. It concerns all of us because the enemy targets each and every one of us. The religious responsibility is ours collectively, and this has also to do with our moral, humanitarian, and national responsibilities, in all aspects, as it concerns all of us.
The problem does not stem from Hezbollah in Lebanon nor from the Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, or the resistance factions in Palestine. When did these groups arise? When did they take action? They emerged after the Israeli occupation, following the Israeli aggression, and in response to the Israeli crimes. They came to confront it after it practiced killing, destruction, and occupation and gained control. Israel once swept through Lebanon in seven days, reaching Beirut. Then, Hezbollah emerged and the mujahidin of Hezbollah came and drove the Israeli enemy out and liberated Lebanon. Hezbollah's mujahidin emerged under those circumstances as a resisting group that united its efforts for a great project and liberated their homeland. So when did they become a problem? Was it when they liberated Lebanon?!
The mujahidin in Palestine—the Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas in general, Islamic Jihad, whose military wing is the Al-Quds Brigades, and other resistance factions—were established amidst the Israeli enemy’s occupation and seizure of Palestine. For decades, the Israeli enemy has committed all types of crimes: murder, rape, violations, land occupation, property seizure, practising all forms of humiliation, and stripping an entire people of their freedom. So when did they become a problem? The Israeli enemy also carried out these actions long before the Islamic Revolution in Iran. Therefore, the issue has nothing to do with Iran.
Since the Islamic Revolution and after its victory, the Islamic Republic of Iran has been fulfilling a great, sacred Islamic duty, earning its honour before Allah and before history, all nations, and the entire world by carrying out this sacred duty. It has sacrificed martyrs, and at the forefront of these great martyrs is the great martyr Qasem Soleimani, a great leader who made a remarkable and significant contribution to fulfilling this sacred and grand duty.
Thus, the same is true of all those among the sons of the Ummah who takes action: Everyone sacrifices martyrs within the framework of fulfilling an Islamic duty that concerns all Muslims, both in Arab countries and beyond. However, I always emphasise that the responsibility lies primarily with Arabs, although it is the responsibility of every Muslim, as well.
Regarding the Iraqi resistance, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq continues to escalate intensively and has become a strong front that disturbs the Israeli enemy and inflicts losses on it. I extend my heartfelt greetings with admiration, respect, and reverence to our fellow mujahidin in Iraq: May Allah bring you honour and grant you reward. Continue these important operations with this level of momentum and escalation.
As for the front of Yemen (the land of faith, jihad, and wisdom), our country continues its operations and activities in the Battle of the Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad. This week's military operations have been carried out with 29 … missiles and drones. Some of these operations targeted the heart of occupied Palestine and its southern parts in Jaffa, Asqalan, and Umm Al-Rashrash, as well as an enemy airbase in the Negev Desert. All these operations were aimed at targets that belong to the Israeli enemy in occupied Palestine, including targets in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean. One of the key naval operations was the targeting of the American aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln in the Arabian Sea, which fled hundreds of miles after being targeted. Following the flight of the American aircraft carrier that had previously been in the Red Sea, the enemy has been avoiding the Red Sea. In fact, no aircraft carriers have entered the Red Sea since that time. They occasionally move either from the Gulf to the Sea of Oman or along the edges of the Indian Ocean or the Arabian Sea, moving with stealth and camouflage. In some cases, they come close to certain African coasts but not without anticipation and fear of being targeted. Whenever they are detected in the Arabian Sea, they are attacked, and we command so.
First and foremost, the ability to make such a decision and take such action is by the grace of Allah (Glory be to Him) and a result of our dear people's Quranic orientation that goes in line with faith and jihad. Is there any other country apart from ours that has the courage to make a decision to target an American aircraft carrier and implement that decision in reality by launching missiles and drones against it? Who else would dare to do so? This is the result of our Quranic and faith-driven orientation, our trust in Allah, our reliance on Him, and our sense of responsibility towards supporting the Palestinian people in light of what they are facing in Gaza, as well as towards standing by the Lebanese people and their dear mujahidin. This is a very important matter.
The Americans sometimes downplay the incident. In the past, they used to deny such incidents, but later they acknowledged them, even those officials on the aircraft carrier that had previously fled from the Red Sea. Anyway, the aircraft carrier in the Arabian Sea, where the distance is greater, fled hundreds of miles after being targeted. This operation also targeted two American frigates or warships in the Red Sea at the same time. This came at a time when the Americans were preparing to target our country that night with the largest aerial assault since they announced their aggression in support of the Israeli enemy after our country clearly stated its position in support of the Palestinian people and the blockage of maritime navigation against the Israeli enemy. The operation the Americans were planning ultimately failed, and at the same time, they found themselves in a defensive position, with the aircraft carrier fleeing hundreds of miles because of that operation. As long as the situation remains as it is, with the Israelis continuing their aggression supported by the Americans against Gaza and the Lebanese people and their mujahidin, we will continue our operations.
The Americans believe that they must support the Israeli enemy in its crimes, aggression, and genocide against the Palestinian people, including the killing of children and women and the starvation of millions of Palestinians. They consider this their duty. In contrast, we do view our support for the Palestinian people and our solidarity with their dear mujahidin—militarily, politically, and through media efforts, as well as by spending in the path of Allah and in every way we can—as a responsibility of faith, religion, and morality and as our duty in all respects. We have a huge motivation. Our blood is boiling, and we have strong feelings about this. Our people express their genuine emotional connection with the Palestinian cause even in the protests. We wish we could do much more and strive to take even greater action.
Therefore, our operations will continue. If the Americans want to bring the aircraft carrier into the Red Sea, doing so will only bring it closer, making it more vulnerable to being targeted. If they dare to do that, let them try, as this will give us the opportunity to strike it even more while it is closer to us. It has already been targeted where it is due to the American role in the aggression against our country and its support for the Israeli enemy against the Palestinian people and our people. This was all about this very important operation.
This week, the Americans carried out airstrikes in multiple governorates, in Sana'a, Amran, Al-Hudaydah, Sa`dah, Al-Bayda, and Taiz. However, none of these attacks has any impact on the military capabilities of our country—whether those capabilities of the missile forces, drone forces, naval forces, or any other forces.
Regarding some recent events, which we are going to discuss in short, what happened in the Netherlands carries an important lesson. First, it was the Israelis present there who initiated the aggression. They were the ones shouting anti-Arab slogans, which they have been repeating since the arrival of Zionist gangs in Palestine up until today. The Israelis have a specific slogan: 'Death to the Arabs,' which they shout without making any exception. This is a hostile slogan, and they share the same mentality of seeking to eliminate Arabs and put this slogan into action. This slogan raises no sensitivities or criticisms within their ranks; there is no prohibition against this slogan, no imprisonment for it, and no killing over it. Rather, they chant this slogan freely, even outside of occupied Palestine. Here they were chanting it in the Netherlands, gathering with pro-Zionism individuals to shout or chant 'Death to the Arabs.' They then went further as to engage in a direct assault to remove and tear Palestinian flags down from various buildings. They violated such buildings and showed no respect for anything. When that sparked a reaction (which was in harmony with wisdom, morality, and humanity) from some of the communities there and some Dutch individuals to confront the actions of those Zionists and beat them, this caused an uproar! The Israelis screamed, claiming, 'This is anti-Semitism!' Dutch officials reacted as if the Day of Judgement started, expressing anger, severity, and harshness. They issued threats and decided on extremely strict measures, labelling the reaction as 'anti-Semitism'. However, the Israeli acts of genocide against the Palestinian people, which are acts against humanity, are not called as such. The chant 'Death to the Arabs' is not considered anti-Semitism! To them, what the Israelis do is normal, but any step or reaction from any side against the actions of the Israeli enemy is classified as 'anti-Semitism' and is suppressed with the harshest measures. This is what happened in the Netherlands.
As for the Americans, they continuously try to incite others against our country and also seek to recreate proxies from within the country in various forms. Through some of their low-ranking officials, the Americans have attempted to gather a group of traitors and proxies in Aden to repackage them. These are the same traitors and proxies who have been working with them for a long time. They want to present them in new ways that all are ugly, unacceptable, unattractive, disgraceful, and bound to fail. They represent the same old pattern of subordination—they are present them in ways that are very ugly and ultimately bound to fail.
If Anyone who belongs to the Yemeni people choses to turn his back to this people in their great jihadist position and their honourable Quranic orientation, then he is among the greatest of losers. He had the opportunity to be part of a people whose position raises one's head with pride and brings honour in this life and the next, and to be free, yet he rejects that. He turns his back on all of it and chooses to be a servant to the Americans, the Israelis, and their proxies; in doing so, he is a true loser.
As for the Americans, no matter what they do, our position remains firm and unwavering. We rely on Allah (the Almighty), and our people move with insight, awareness, and a strong sense of responsibility, fully convinced of their position.
Last week, our Yemeni people massively took to the streets in millions on Friday, unparalleled anywhere in the world, challenging the criminal, murderous, and pro-Zionism Trump, as well as Biden. They stood against American and Israeli arrogance and confronted all the tyrants of the world. They took to the streets and raised their voices to make themselves heard across the globe, with their crowds reaching millions and having a faith drive. They are a free, proud, and defiant people who take pride in their faith. This is why they bravely take their stance and confidently determine their choices, moving forward in the right path with steadfastness and loyalty.
Indeed, the events in Palestine are at their peak, and the tragedy is immense; however, there is great resilience. The same goes for the tragedy of the Lebanese people and the injustices they face, along with the steadfastness of their mujahidin.
The American position remains the same: It is aggressive and fully aligned with Zionism in every sense of the word and sticks to the Zionist project. Every American president tries to do even more and boasts about the support provided to Israel and the Zionist project itself. This is why Trump boastfully says that he has appointed a great friend of Israel as Secretary of State—in other words, a Zionist. Every American president seeks to offer more.
In our jihadist and faith-based position, we will always strive to do more to support the Palestinian people and their cause and to stand up to the injustice they face and to the hostile Zionist project against our entire Ummah. Therefore, we will keep working in the right path that aligns with faith and jihad to do what is more, provide what is greater, and take stronger actions. This is what we intend, and it is rooted in our faith in Allah, our trust in Him, and our conviction in the position we hold and the importance of the path we are following.
This week, our fellow mujahidin in Hamas issued a call to the peoples of our Ummah and to peoples around the world to participate in demonstrations in support of the Palestinian people, especially as the residents of the Gaza Strip in general and those in northern Gaza are suffering starvation, genocide, and horrific crimes perpetrated by the Israeli enemy.
Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression against Gaza and this tragedy of the Palestinian people in Gaza caused by the criminal Israeli escalation and crimes of genocide, our Yemeni people have always been present. They listen to the calls of the Palestinian people and their mujahid leaders. They listen to the cries of Palestinian children and women and the shouts of Palestinian mujahidin and to everything that comes from Palestine to remind this Ummah of its responsibility. They listen and hear with their hearts, engage, interact with their conscience and feelings, and realise their responsibility of faith. This is why they take to the streets on Fridays in various governorates, including Sana'a at the Al-Sabeen Square. They take to the streets with immense enthusiasm. This enthusiasm is evident on the faces of the people, in their cries, and in their powerful chants that come from the depths of their hearts, resonating through their voices. Their courage and sincere, great enthusiasm are reflected in their statements, their expressions, and in their interactions with the media, showing how they articulate their feelings.
While many other peoples may ignore the call from our brothers in Hamas to demonstrate, our people will not turn a deaf ear to that call. They hear the call and respond to the voice of the oppressed. They are a wronged people who have tasted the bitterness of oppression and suffered from the oppression and tyranny of tyrants. Yet, they are a free, proud, noble, and loyal people, with values and a vibrant conscience.
Therefore, I call upon our dear people to take to the streets in millions tomorrow, on Friday, in magnificent, million-strong demonstrations that respond to the call of those brave mujahidin and to the cries and pleas of the mujahidin in Palestine and Lebanon, as s well as to the tears of children and women, their anguish, hunger, thirst, and suffering. I call upon them take to the streets, as we do every week, in a grand and honourable way, seeking to please Allah (the Almighty) and to engage in jihad for His sake and standing in solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people.
We ask Allah (Glory be to Him) to grant us all success in seeking what pleases Him, have mercy on our virtuous martyrs, heal the wounded among us, set free our captives, and grant us victory. We also ask Him to hasten victory and relief for the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples and their mujahidin. He is the All-Hearer of prayer.
Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
