News - Yemen: The Political Bureau of Ansarullah hailed the historic victory achieved by the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, Hezbollah, against the Zionist enemy, crediting the triumph to the unity between the Lebanese people and the resistance, which compelled the implementation of a ceasefire.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, Ansarullah emphasized that Hezbollah's achievement was made possible through steadfastness, immense sacrifices, and the shedding of pure blood on the path to liberating Al-Quds.

The statement praised Hezbollah’s fighters for their exemplary sacrifices for Palestine and its people, embodying unwavering principles and a deep belief in the justice of their cause.

It also highlighted Hezbollah’s early alignment with Palestinian resistance during the Al-Aqsa Flood battle, a pivotal moment that shifted the dynamics of the conflict with the Zionist entity.

Ansarullah commended the resilience of the Lebanese people, who stood firmly alongside their valiant resistance, and underscored the importance of national unity in countering Zionist aggression.

The statement reiterated full support for the Lebanese and Palestinian resistance, stressing the need to continue the struggle until the legitimate rights of both peoples are fully realized.

A ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah took effect at 4 a.m. local time in Lebanon (02:00 GMT) amid hopes the truce will bring a permanent end to Israeli attacks on Lebanese towns and cities and halt more than a year of fighting in southern Lebanon and the northern sector of the occupied territories.

Hezbollah opened a support front for Palestinians in Gaza only a day after the Israeli regime unleashed its genocidal war against the besieged territory last October.

More than 3,760 people have been killed in Israeli attacks in Lebanon, with nearly 15,700 others injured and more than a million displaced since the onset of hostilities on October 8, 2023, according to Lebanese health authorities.

In late September, the regime also assassinated Hezbollah's leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in a strike in southern Beirut.
