Nov. 28 Over 9 Years: Over 40 Casualties in US-Saudi Strikes on Yemen

Yemen:  The US-Saudi aggression has deliberately committed war crimes on November 28 across several years—2015, 2016, and 2021—targeting civilians in their homes, travelers, migrants, and workers in farms and near fuel stations in Yemen's Sa'adah and Al-Dhalea provinces. These attacks resulted in over eight deaths and more than 30 injuries, including women, children, and Ethiopian and Eritrean workers, while destroying homes, schools, and farms, and causing widespread damage to civilian properties.

Highlights of Attacks on November 28:

2015: Al-Sayfi, Sa'adah Province

Casualties: 4 killed, 11 injured.
Impact: Saudi strikes targeted homes, causing significant destruction and displacing families. The scenes of devastation—children crying, families searching for safety, and homes turned to rubble—left lasting scars on survivors.

2015: African Workers in Baqim, Sa'adah

Casualties: Several injured.
Impact: Migrant farmworkers were bombed while working, exposing the aggression's indiscriminate targeting of civilians regardless of nationality.

2016: Shada District, Sa'adah

Casualties: 4 killed, 3 injured.
Impact: Homes were destroyed, livestock perished, and families were displaced, compounding their economic hardships. Survivors recounted horrific scenes of dismembered bodies and widespread devastation.

2021: Al-Dhalea Province

Casualties: 15 injured.
Impact: A school and fuel station were bombed in Al-Fakher, injuring civilians, damaging infrastructure, and depriving hundreds of students of education. Witnesses described the chaos and destruction as "a complete massacre against civilians."

These attacks are part of a long-standing pattern of indiscriminate bombings that violate international humanitarian law. The recurring tragedies highlight the urgent need for international accountability and justice for victims. As Yemenis remember these crimes, they continue to demand an end to the aggression and redress for the immense suffering endured by their people.
