News - Yemen: In a significant escalation, the Yemeni Armed Forces have revealed that they, in coordination with the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, carried out three military operations targeting Israeli sites over the past 48 hours. 

According to the Armed Forces, two of the operations struck enemy positions in northern occupied Palestine using several drones. A third operation targeted a vital location in the Umm Al-Rashrash area in southern occupied Palestine, also utilizing drones.

The statement emphasized that these actions are a direct response to what the Yemeni leadership described as crimes against Palestinians and a show of solidarity with the oppressed population and resistance fighters in Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces also asserted their commitment to continuing these operations. "We, along with the Iraqi resistance fighters, will persist in responding to the Israeli enemy's crimes against our brothers in Gaza," the statement read. "These operations will not stop until the aggression ceases and the siege on Gaza is lifted."

Earlier on Sunday, the Yemeni Armed Forces launched a hypersonic missile, Palestine 2, targeting a vital site in the Yafa area of central occupied Palestine.

Since the onset of the Israeli regime’s war on Gaza on October 7, 2023—after Palestinian resistance movements launched Operation Al-Aqsa Storm—Yemen has declared unwavering support for Palestine’s struggle against occupation.

Yemeni forces have launched multiple operations in solidarity with Palestinians, targeting areas in occupied Palestinian territories and intercepting ships believed to be headed toward Israeli-controlled ports.

So far, Israel has killed at least over 44,502 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured over 105,454 others in Gaza.
