News - Yemen: Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi stressed the importance of high responsibility and readiness in facing any emergencies, given Yemen's current situation.

He noted that Yemen, which has been subjected to aggression, siege, and occupation for ten years, is now confronting its real adversaries: the United States, Britain, and the Zionist entity. These forces, he argued, are accustomed to imposing their agendas on the world.

Al-Rahwi highlighted that Yemen is among the few nations rejecting the dictates of these powers, particularly regarding support for Gaza, which has made Yemen a direct target of their aggression.

He underscored that preparedness for emergencies is a standard practice worldwide, even during times of peace, and reaffirmed his belief that stability will prevail in Yemen despite the schemes of its adversaries.

For his part, Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs, Major General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, also highlighted the significance of the workshop and its objectives. He pointed out the heavy responsibility borne by the Ministry of Transport and Public Works in emergency preparedness, particularly concerning ports, airports, roads, and bridges.

Since the onset of the Israeli regime’s war on Gaza on October 7, 2023—after Palestinian resistance movements launched Operation Al-Aqsa Storm—Yemen has declared unwavering support for Palestine’s struggle against occupation.

Yemeni forces have launched multiple operations in solidarity with Palestinians, targeting areas in occupied Palestinian territories and intercepting ships believed to be headed toward Israeli-controlled ports.

So far, Israel has killed at least over 44,502 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured over 105,454 others in Gaza.
