News - Middle East: The Israeli occupation forces committed two new massacres against Palestinian families and displaced individuals in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, resulting in the deaths and injuries of dozens, the majority of whom were women and children.

In its daily statistical report on Saturday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health stated that hospitals in Gaza treated 55 martyrs and 170 injuries caused by the new massacres.

The ministry noted that several victims remain trapped under the rubble and on the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams are unable to reach them.

The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza, now in its 435st consecutive day, has risen to 44,950 martyrs, along with 106,624 injured with varying degrees of severity, including critical and life-threatening cases, since October 7, 2023.

The Israeli military launched multiple airstrikes on Monday evening, in various locations, including the central Gaza Strip, Nuseirat, and the Jabalia refugee camp, as reported by Gaza’s Health Ministry.

Thousands remain unaccounted for, potentially trapped under rubble or lost on the streets, complicating rescue efforts amid the relentless bombardment and extensive debris.

The humanitarian crisis in Gaza worsens as nearly the entire population of 2.3 million is now displaced, with many seeking refuge in tents amid severe winter conditions.

Compounding the distress, a fuel shortage, unreliable communication and internet access, along with a significant lack of humanitarian assistance, all raise alarm over the dire situation for civilians in the region.
