News - Yemen: The representative of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine in Yemen, Ebrahim Nasouh, commended the massive turnout of the Yemeni people across various public squares and fields.

Nasouh emphasized that this widespread participation reflects the strong support and solidarity extended to Gaza since the launch of the heroic Al-Aqsa Flood operation, now ongoing for more than 430 days.

He highlighted that the past week witnessed significant victories and military achievements by the Yemeni Armed Forces, including the success of Sana’a forces in targeting five military ships—two of which were American warships—in the Red Sea.

Despite the challenging circumstances faced by the Yemeni people, Nasouh noted that their commitment to supporting Gaza and the Palestinian cause remains unwavering, utilizing all available resources and capabilities.

He contrasted this with the continued inaction of Arab states in addressing the atrocities in Gaza, emphasizing the distinctive nature of Yemen’s response both on a popular and military level.

Furthermore, Nasouh condemned the deliberate silence of Arab and Islamic nations regarding the ongoing genocide inflicted on Gaza’s residents for the past 15 months by the Zionist regime. He decried the state of submission and surrender that characterizes the stance of many Arab governments.

Since the onset of Israel’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip in October 2023, the Yemeni forces have carried out scores of operations in support of the war-hit Gazans, striking targets throughout the occupied Palestinian territories, in addition to targeting Israeli ships or vessels heading towards ports in the occupied territories.

Israel launched the war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, after the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas waged the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity in response to the Israeli regime's decades-long campaign of bloodletting and devastation against Palestinians.
