In statements to Almasirah, Al-Houthi emphasized that Yemen will continue to fulfill its duty toward the Palestinian people regardless of any external pressure or threats.
“The US-British aggression, or any future aggression, cannot deter Yemen from its responsibility to Gaza,” he declared.
He stated that if the United States wants Yemen to stop supporting the people of Gaza, it must first end the aggression on Gaza and lift the blockade. Addressing potential Israeli threats, Al-Houthi warned, “Any foolish act committed by the Israeli enemy against Yemen will not stop our operations, and we do not care about Israeli threats.”
Al-Houthi highlighted significant advancements made by Yemen’s Armed Forces in response to recent attacks. “Our forces have achieved major progress following the American, British, and Israeli aggression,” he revealed, adding that Yemen remains prepared for any confrontation.
Despite a declared phase of de-escalation, Al-Houthi cautioned that renewed aggression would be met with unwavering resistance. “If the aggression resumes, it will face nothing but steadfast, resolute men standing firm,” he said, asserting that Yemen has “no red lines” when it comes to defending its sovereignty or supporting Gaza.
Al-Houthi also criticized Saudi Arabia and the UAE for failing to achieve their objectives in Yemen despite years of conflict. “Saudi Arabia and the UAE failed to achieve anything, so how will their mercenaries succeed where they have failed for years?” he asked.
Responding to recent U.S. and British strikes, Al-Houthi described the targeting of Yemen’s Al-Ordhi Complex as a “message of war,” stating that Yemen is fully prepared to retaliate. “The messages between us and the Americans are delivered through missiles and drones – messages of iron and fire,” he asserted.
He further highlighted Yemen’s evolving military capabilities, noting that the country now possesses advanced weaponry, including hypersonic missiles. “The Yemeni people once faced Britain with primitive weapons, but today, thanks to God, we possess advanced capabilities to confront any enemy,” Al-Houthi said.
On naval operations, Al-Houthi affirmed that Yemen does not target ships unless they are headed to Israeli-occupied ports. “Ships not bound for Palestinian ports do not need American protection.
We made it clear that any ship not reaching occupied territories will not be harmed,” he stated, accusing the U.S. of militarizing the Red Sea under false pretexts.
He also urged countries bordering the Red Sea to avoid joining any U.S.-led coalition, emphasizing the importance of maintaining regional independence. “We appreciate the positions of the Red Sea states and urge them not to serve U.S. interests,” Al-Houthi said.
Calling for a united Arab response, Al-Houthi urged Arab regimes to take decisive action.
“We call on all Arab governments to mobilize their armies to confront the Israeli enemy and stop the crimes against the people of Gaza,” he stated, adding that bold and direct support for the Palestinian resistance is essential.
Al-Houthi concluded by affirming Yemen’s commitment to the Palestinian cause, emphasizing the urgent need for Arab unity in confronting Israeli aggression.
