News - Yemen: The Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a significant military operation on Thursday, targeting two strategic and sensitive Israeli military sites in the occupied Jaffa area using two "Palestine-2" hypersonic ballistic missiles.

In a televised statement, Brigadier General Yahya Sare'e, the spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, announced that the operation was conducted with precision and successfully achieved its objectives.

The statement clarified that the operation coincided with the Israeli aggression on civilian facilities in Yemen's capital, Sana’a, and the province of Hodeidah, and was executed as a direct response to those attacks.

It emphasized that the operation is part of Yemen's commitment to supporting the oppressed Palestinian people and is aligned with the fifth phase of its response to Israeli aggression on Yemen.

The Yemeni Armed Forces affirmed that Israeli attacks would not deter Yemen and its people from fulfilling their religious and moral duty to respond to the massacres in Gaza. They stressed that the operations will persist, targeting enemy sites with appropriate weapons, as long as the aggression and siege on Gaza continue.

The forces reiterated their commitment, stating that their operations will cease only when the Israeli aggression on Gaza ends and the blockade is lifted.

Since the onset of the Israeli regime’s war on Gaza on October 7, 2023—after Palestinian resistance movements launched Operation Al-Aqsa Storm—Yemen has declared unwavering support for Palestine’s struggle against occupation. The Yemeni Armed Forces have launched regular strikes against Israel as part of a phased escalation campaign.

This campaign has included a strict maritime blockade of Israeli shipping, effectively preventing vessels from reaching Israeli ports. In the initial phase, Yemeni forces targeted the port of Umm al-Rashrash in southern occupied Palestine. This escalation marks the culmination of a year-long series of actions across five phases.

Yemeni military advancements have now enabled strikes deep within Israel, reaching Jaffa (referred to by Israel as Tel Aviv) and other key locations. These attacks have utilized hypersonic missiles and advanced drones with significant destructive capabilities, targeting ports and critical military infrastructure throughout occupied Palestine.
