Mohammed Al-Houthi Warns US, Saudi Arabia Against Any Escalation

News - Yemen: Member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Al-Houthi, warned the US-Saudi aggression of the consequences of escalating tensions and taking further risks against Yemen.

His remarks came during an inspection of the national power station in Sa’adah Governorate, which was rendered inoperative due to airstrikes by the US-Saudi aggression. The attacks caused severe damage to the station, taking it out of service.

“We reaffirm that the aggression by the US, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Britain against our country will not deter us from confronting injustice, tyranny, and terrorism,” Al-Houthi declared.

“We stood by Gaza, and the destruction inflicted on the Gaza Strip has also occurred in Sa’adah and many other Yemeni governorates,” he added.

Addressing US President Donald Trump, Al-Houthi said: “You were among those who bombed this station, but it did not weaken our determination to resist tyranny and global arrogance.”

He continued, “The Yemeni people see you as terrorists and criminals. Your actions in Yemen have only strengthened our resilience. You are the losers, and we are the victors. The day will come when our people achieve victory, just as they did against the US Navy, which is now out of range. American prestige at sea has been shattered, and your warships no longer hold any value.”

Al-Houthi urged the US administration to withdraw the USS Harry Truman destroyer to the shores of Florida, where it belongs, and to end its militarization of the Red Sea and other waters.

He emphasized that the Yemeni people remain strong, faithful, and steadfast in their struggle against American and Zionist oppression.

Addressing the Saudi regime, he warned: “If you attempt to repeat the past, the Yemeni people today are stronger, more resilient, and more determined than ever.”

During his visit, Al-Houthi was briefed on the extent of the damage to the power station, which had supplied electricity to Sa’adah city and neighboring districts with a capacity of nine megawatts. The aggression airstrikes caused losses estimated at three billion riyals.

He reaffirmed the commitment of the Supreme Political Council and the government to supporting essential service and development projects—especially in water, electricity, and infrastructure—to alleviate the suffering of citizens.

Saudi Arabia and its allies have waged its war against Yemen since 2015, aiming to reinstate Riyadh-friendly former officials. The war and siege enforced by the US-Saudi-led coalition have resulted in hundreds of thousands of Yemeni deaths and pushed the country to the brink of famine, creating the world's worst humanitarian crisis.

These ongoing atrocities demand urgent international attention. Without accountability and justice, the suffering of Yemen’s people will persist, and the cycle of violence will continue. It is imperative that world leaders, human rights organizations, and legal bodies take decisive action to end the war, lift the blockade, and bring those responsible for war crimes to justice.
