"Riyadh pledged in the letter that it would spare no effort to protect its people and its land, and it called on the Security Council to act to stop the threat," Reuters reported.

At the same time, Ansarullah spokesman Mohammad Abdulsalam said, "The Saudi regime, despite its plea for denunciations and its attempt to play the role of the victim, could not go beyond being an aggressor and a rogue regime waging a war against the Yemeni people."

He added in a tweet that "the world knows that the Saudi regime has launched an aggression and blockade that still continues until now. As long as this is the case, it must await a response and legitimate self defense, until the aggression stops and the siege is lifted."

The Armed Forces spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Sare'e, Monday announced that the Rocketry Force targeted an Aramco's distribution station in Jeddah with the winged missile Quds-2. He confirmed in a press statement, that the missile targeted its target accurately, and ambulances and firefighting vehicles rushed to the targeted place.

The Al-Mayadeen correspondent in Sana'a said, "The operation was preceded by repeated warnings from the Yemeni Armed Forces against targeting vital installations in Saudi Arabia."

For his part, a spokesman for the Saudi coalition considered that "the Aramco attack does not target the national capabilities of the Kingdom, but rather global energy security."
