“We are surprised by the silence of the United Nations Mission regarding the crimes committed by the mercenaries of the US-Saudi aggression,” the Governor of Hodeidah Mohammad Ayyash Qahim said during the meeting. “You have seen the victims of these crimes today.”
Qahim stressed that the US-Saudi aggression’s detention of oil derivative ships affected the health situation and negatively affected the lives of citizens.
The governor of Hodeidah addressed Guha, saying, “How do you accept, as the United Nations, that the aggression seizes food and medicine ships, while you have given them the necessary permits?”
He added that the shells of the Saudi-mercenaries fall daily on the heads of the residents of this city from which you are exercising your duties to monitor the ceasefire without any position or condemnation of these crimes from you.
For his part, Gen. Abhijit Guha said, “There must be a ceasefire and sufficient time for the UN envoy and the UN mission to reach a ceasefire and create peace for the Yemenis.”
"There is communication with the other party to return to the Stockholm Agreement and implement their long-overdue obligations," he added.
