Nassif said that "President Biden’s decision to freeze arms sales to Saudi Arabia and the UAE represents a good relief, contrary to a chapter in the shameful history. Over the course of nearly six years of the war in Yemen, fueled by irresponsible arms transfers, it has left 14 million Yemenis in desperate need of humanitarian aid," according to the organization's official website.
"The suspension of arms sales by the United States constitutes a positive step, and increases pressure on European countries, most notably the United Kingdom and France, to follow suit and stop fueling human misery in Yemen", he added.
