Armed Forces Spokesman Responses US-Saudi Claims on Removing Sea Mines
News - Yemen: The spokesman of the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e, denied the US-Saudi claims on removal of sea mines in Bab al-Mandab and the islands of Hanish and Zuqar.
Brigadier-General Saree said that what is promoted by the media of the aggression about removing mines in Bab al-Mandab and the islands of Hanish and Zaqar are fabrications.
He explained that these fabrications are to mislead the international public opinion and give an impression of the danger the Army and Popular Committees pose to maritime navigation.
He challenged these media reports indicating that these kind of fabrications are exposed to the public and "not believable by anyone.” He explained that "Yemeni military operations are proudly announced."
