Minister of Electricity: Electricity Sector Destroyed by US-Saudi Aggression, Looting in Previous Regime
News – Yemen: Minister of Electricity Ahmed Al-Aliyi has confirmed that the siege and direct targeting by the forces of aggression and mercenaries, as well as, the looting of the electricity sector during the era of the previous regime, led to great damage in this sector.
Al-Aliyi told Almasirah on Wednesday that the electricity generation has decreased since the beginning of the aggression from 87 per cent to rates that do not exceed 10 per cent.
He added that the forces of aggression's detention of fuel ships is one of the factors that greatly affected the electricity sector in Yemen.
