Yemen: On March 14, 2024, Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik Badreddin al-Houthi reiterated that Yemen's operations will continue as long as the aggression and siege on Gaza continue.

The Leader emphasized that "the US-British aggression will not affect the momentum, precision, and strength of our escalating operations."

He stated: "The only thing that can stop our naval operations is the cessation of aggression and siege on Gaza," adding that "American obstinacy and escalation of aggression result in one outcome, which is the widening of the conflict, expanding the circle of war and events, and escalating the situation in the region in general."

He continued: "Our serious direction is to continue and to expand the scope of our operations to reach areas and sites that the enemy never expected," affirming that "with the help of Allah and His assistance, we aim to prevent the passage of ships linked to the Israeli enemy across the Indian Ocean and from South Africa towards the Cape of Good Hope route."

He indicated that "we have begun to implement our operations associated with it across the Indian Ocean, from South Africa towards the Cape of Good Hope route," and that "there is no option for the Americans or the British except to stop the aggression on Gaza and to stop starving the people in Gaza."

Sayyed Abdulmalik stressed that "the continued provision of full cover and support by the Americans to the Israeli enemy to starve the Palestinian people in Gaza will not be tolerated or overlooked," adding that "our human conscience, religion, morals, dignity, and belonging to Islam prohibit us from watching the injustice of Palestine or remaining silent about it."

On March 15, 2024, the Naval Forces of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a targeting operation against the Israeli ship Pacific 01 in the Red Sea, using appropriate naval missiles. Meanwhile, the Air Forces carried out a targeting operation against an American destroyer in the Red Sea using drones, and the operation achieved its objectives successfully.

Armed Forces spokesman General Yahya Sare'e indicated in a statement that this operation came "in implementation of the directives of Sayyed Abdulmalik Badreddin al-Houthi," in support of the plight of the Palestinian people who are being attacked and besieged in Gaza, and in response to the calls of the Yemeni people and all the free people of the nation. The Yemeni Armed Forces have begun to expand their military operations against Israeli ships or those linked to Israelis or heading to the ports of occupied Palestine to include the Indian Ocean towards the route of the Cape of Good Hope.

On March 19, 2024, the Naval Forces of the Yemeni Armed Forces targeted the American ship Mado in the Red Sea using appropriate naval missiles. The Rocketry Forces launched several winged missiles at Israeli targets in the Umm al-Rashrash area in southern occupied Palestine, and they hit their targets successfully.

On March 26, 2024, the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out six military operations within 72 hours, using a large number of ballistic missiles and drones, as follows:
The Naval Forces and the Rocketry Force carried out four joint operations against four ships, including the American ship Maersk Saratoga in the Gulf of Aden, the American ship APL Detroit in the Red Sea, the British ship  Huangpu in the Red Sea, and the ship Pretty Lady which was heading to the ports of occupied Palestine. 

The Air Forces carried out a qualitative military operation targeting two American warships in the Red Sea, and the Rocketry Force carried out a military operation targeting several Israeli targets in the Umm al-Rashrash area in southern occupied Palestine. The military operations achieved their objectives successfully.

On April 7, the Yemeni Armed Forces executed five military operations within 72 hours as follows:

1. The Naval Forces targeted the British ship Hope Island in the Red Sea with suitable naval missiles, resulting in a direct hit.

2. Two Israeli ships, MSC Grace F in the Indian Ocean and MSC Gina in the Arabian Sea, were targeted with ballistic and cruise missiles, successfully achieving their objectives.

3. Yemeni Air Force carried out two military operations targeting several American warships in the Red Sea, achieving successful hits.

On April 10, the Yemeni Naval Forces conducted four military operations:

1. The Israeli ships MSC Darwin and MSC Gina were targeted again in the Gulf of Aden.

2. The American ship Maersk Yorktown was targeted in the Gulf of Aden, along with an American warship using UAVs and naval missiles.

3. On April 24, a British oil tanker Andromeda Star was targeted in the Red Sea with naval missiles.

4. On April 25, the Yemeni Naval Forces targeted the Israeli ship MSC Darwin in the Gulf of Aden, achieving successful hits.

Additionally, the Yemeni Air Defense Forces successfully shot down an American MQ-9 drone over Sa'adah province on April 25, 2024.

On April 26, a British oil tanker Cyclades was targeted in the Red Sea with naval missiles.

On April 29, 2024, the Yemeni Armed Forces targeted two American warships in the Red Sea, along with the Israeli ship "CYCLADES," achieving successful hits.

These operations were conducted in response to violations of the ban on ships heading to the occupied Palestinian ports. The Yemeni Armed Forces warned these ships not to enter these ports, yet they persisted, resulting in their inclusion on the list of targeted and prohibited vessels in the Yemeni Armed Forces' operational zone.

4th Round of Escalation: Expanding Operations to the Mediterranean Sea

On May 2, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, in a televised speech regarding the latest developments in occupied Palestine and regional developments, announced Yemen's preparation for a fourth round of escalation if the Israeli enemy, along with the Americans, persists in their obstinacy. He affirmed that the consequences of the enemies' obstinacy are severe and will lead to greater fires.

Amidst the massive crowds in Al-Sabeen Square on Friday, May 3, the spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier Yahya Sare'e, affirmed in a statement amidst the masses that "in implementation of the directives of Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi, in supporting the just cause of the Palestinian people and responding to the calls of the oppressed Palestinian people's resistance, and with the obstinacy of the Israeli and American enemy, the Yemeni Armed Forces, with announce the beginning of the fourth phase of escalation."

The announcement came as follows:

Firstly, targeting all violating ships heading to the occupied Palestinian ports in the Mediterranean Sea in any area within Yemen's reach.

Secondly, this will be implemented immediately upon the announcement of this statement.

Thirdly, in case the Israeli enemy launches military aggression on Rafah, the Yemeni Armed Forces will impose comprehensive sanctions on all ships of companies involved in supplying and entering the occupied Palestinian ports of any nationality. They will prevent all ships of these companies from passing through the area of operations of the Yemeni Armed Forces, regardless of their destination.

The statement pointed out that "the Yemeni Armed Forces will not hesitate to prepare and be ready for wider and stronger escalation stages until the aggression is stopped and the siege on the oppressed Palestinian people in Gaza is lifted."

With this announcement, Yemen officially enters the phase of the fourth escalatory round against the Israeli enemy and its supporters. This announcement received widespread welcome from all free people in the popular, mass, local, and international media circles and led to many ramifications, the most important of which is the involvement of some Arab and Islamic countries that were previously indifferent to what is happening in Gaza. They are now exerting pressure on the occupation entity to engage in negotiations to end the aggression and siege on the sector. Many countries and international organizations have also called on Israel not to proceed with plans to invade Rafah, as it would be the final nail in its coffin.

According to observers, if Israeli obstinacy continues, it "heralds a huge Yemeni explosion, supported by the axis of resistance, and will change the map."
