News – Yemen: Minister of Information Daifallah Al-Shami confirmed on Wednesday that if the weapon of word and credibility of Almasirah  Website had not been effective, the US would not have rushed to block the news outlets.

During a conference of the Yemeni Media Union, Minister Al-Shami said that blocking the resistance media websites reflects their effectiveness and is considered a victory for the resistance.

Al-Shami called on all the resistance media to have a joint media strategy to exchange support.

The Under-Secretary-General of Islamic Radios and Televisions Union, Nasser Akhdar, said that while the Yemeni media is immersed in the suffering of the interior and confronting aggression, it has not forgotten regional issues, especially Al-Quds and Palestine.

He affirmed that what the US did towards the resistance media was an expression of the resentment towards what the resistance media achieved, especially as it was a partner in thwarting the American hegemonic projects.

Nasser Akhdar said that the resistance must have alternative plans for any attempt by the enemy to obscure its media. He pointed out that the Yemeni media has developed greatly in a record period and was able to present the image of Yemen with the sincerity and courage of its media.
