The "ScanEagle" was built by Insito, a subsidiary of the American company Boeing. It costs $11.25 million, and it is used for reconnaissance, accurately locating targets from the air.
This aircraft is characterized by its small size compared to its counterparts in the regular armies, which facilitates its transportation. It carries an electro-optical surveillance camera and another infrared camera.
It was used in war on Iraq by the US army, as it carried out more than 1,000 sorties over Iraqi areas.
