Yemen: Various events were witnessed last week, Saudi Arabia emptied its headquarters in Aden and withdrew most of its forces to floating tankers in the oil port of Aden. In Shabwah, the Emirates handed over the Al-Alam camp and Balhaf to the UAE-backed transitional forces.

The spokesman for the coalition forces commented on the withdrawal of his forces in Aden calling it ‘a redeployment’. This withdrawal coincided with naval maneuvers in the Red Sea of Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain in conjunction with the "Israel enemy".

The forces of the Saudi-backed Islah party in Marib became besieged in a narrow area - Al-Wadi and Al-Madina districts amid reports of continued progress by the Yemeni Army and the Popular Committees.

Islah lost his last chance to remain a political party by its betrayal to Marib after seven years of fighting with the US-Saudi alliance.

In turn, the victory of the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees in the Battle of Marib constituted a clear and strategic victory whose repercussions would extend to the region and perhaps internationally in determining the international balance of power.

Whatever the final goals of the new plan of the Saudi coalition in the Yemeni field through the ‘redeployment’ and the moves it makes and the strengthening of a group of mercenaries at the expense of others, this only means reducing the size of the resounding and huge loss by losing Marib.

Sana’a was also correct in presenting its offer in return for the coalition's request for a truce in Marib, an offer that includes a complete halt and an official declaration by the coalition to stop the war and lift the siege.

As for the coalition, both things ‘liberating Marib or declaring the cessation of the aggression and lifting the siege without achieving the goals’ are difficult as they mean declaring defeat for the US-Saudi coalition.

The results of the victory in the battle of Marib, and the days after the liberation of Marib are full of transformations for the Yemeni people, the resistance axis, and for Al-Quds and Palestine.
