The United Nations envoy added in his briefing to the Security Council today, Tuesday, on the situation in Yemen: "The solution will not be sustainable if it does not represent the interests of the Yemenis, whether those participating in the fighting or others Participation. We must work for a just and lasting peace, and not from yes, only from the absence of war."

Grundenberg continued by saying: Military options will not lead to sustainable results, so restraint, de-escalation and dialogue are required. The envoy continued his briefing: I envision a political process owned by Yemenis and supported by the international community. That process should support short-term solutions, and it should also define and build consensus around the elements of a political settlement that ends the war in a sustainable way, establishes inclusive governance arrangements, and guarantees the rights of Yemenis.”

US Special Envoy for Yemen Tim Lenderking does not pay attention to the escalation that the spokesman of the aggression constantly announces, because Washington is a party to this escalation. The recent raids left dozens of civilians dead and wounded and destroyed the infrastructure and property of citizens.

American diplomacy falls every day in Yemen, its envoy no longer cares about being a peace envoy. He practically turned into a war envoy by instigating its continuation, and setting himself up as an opponent of the Yemenis.
