News – Yemen: The correct basis for any peace process - in the future - depends on stopping the aggression and lifting the siege on Yemen, starting with the opening of Sana’a International Airport and the port of Hodeidah, and the payment of employee salaries from oil and gas revenues, President Mahdi Al-Mashat has stressed.

“The stage we are living in, in light of international changes and crises caused by the US, necessitates that we seek the help of Allah and move with all diligence to work, produce and build," President Mashat said in his speech on Friday evening, on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Adha.

He also urged to pay attention to agriculture and self-sufficiency in the agricultural, economic and industrial fields to reduce the effects of the crises that pervade the world, especially Yemen in light of the US-Saudi aggression and blockade.

He also reiterated that supporting the Palestinian people and the Palestinian cause is a principled, religious and humanitarian position for the Yemeni people, and it cannot change.

President Mashat also affirmed Yemen's firm position on the side of the resistance axis, and condemned all military, economic, or political plots against this axis.

He condemned the continuous Zionist attacks on Syria, and the unjust US economic blockade against it, stressing Syria's right to liberate the remainder of its occupied lands as well as the occupied Syrian Golan.

He congratulated on this occasion the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi, and all the Yemeni people at home and abroad, and all the peoples of our Muslim Nation.
