News - Middle East: The General Secretariat of the General Conference of Arab Parties condemned the visit of US President Joe Biden to the region, which aims at supporting the option of normalization and perpetuating and supporting the Zionist occupation of Palestine.

The Arab parties said in a statement on Thursday that Biden's visit to the Zionist entity comes to legitimize it and to confirm the US administration's absolute support for the enemy of the Arab nation. This was announced by the US Congress, which decided to provide $4 billion in aid, in addition to advanced weapons, to ensure the security of the entity on the one hand and its superiority over all countries in the region. 

It is also covering an aggressive policy that the Zionist entity practices against the Palestinian people on the other hand, in flagrant violation of international laws and norms, and its continuation of settlement projects and repeated violations against the sanctities in Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the statement added.

The Arab parties stressed that the American cover of the enemy pushes it to persist in targeting the sons of Palestine and journalists and deliberately killing them. It is an open attempt aimed at obliterating its described crimes against the steadfast Palestinian people.

The statement indicated that Biden seeks to help the enemy out of its recurring existential crises, by applying pressure on some Arab regimes to sign agreements to recognize and normalize with it.

In this regard, the Secretary-General of the General Conference of Arab Parties, Qassem Saleh, stressed that Biden's visit is part of the American-Zionist aggression that targets the nation.

“The United States of America is the main enemy of our nation, so we call on those who bet on it to restore rights to leave this illusion and drop it from their miserable calculations,” he added.

He believed that the option of resistance and restoration of the armed struggle represented the shortest and most effective way to liberate the land in Palestine, the Golan and southern Lebanon, and to restore rights and sanctities.

Saleh pointed out that resisting and opposing normalization is the duty of all conferences, forces, parties and free people of the nation.
