News - Yemen: The Ministry of Interior confirmed that the security services arrested terrorist members in ​Al-Baidha Governorate, after they carried out criminal operations targeting security checkpoints belonging to the ministry.

The official spokesman for the Ministry, Brigadier General Abdul-Khaleq Al-Ajri, explained that last week Al-Qaeda members attacked the security checkpoint near the entrance to Khabza area, killing a security man and injuring five others..

Al-Qaeda was expelled by decisive military operations during the past two years from Al-Baidha Governorate. Some of those who lost the war settled and were distributed between Abyan, Shabwa and Hadramawt. The organization has been active for more than 15 years in these areas, but it has been depleted during the past years.

In districts adjacent to Al-Baidha and Abyan, al-Qaeda the US-Saudi aggression is moving groups by groups to spread some of them to the districts. The matter gets mixed up when it is difficult to differentiate between the so-called hybrid giants of the giants and recruits affiliated with the Emirates, and militants affiliated with Al-Qaeda, some of whom were used in aggression operations on the West Coast.
