Yemen: Within the recent events of the escalation in looting Yemen’s wealth by the US-Saudi aggression, Shabwa governorate now witnesses conflicts between Emirati-Saudi occupation forces.

Saudi and Emirati regimes work through their mercenaries on the ground to impose their control in a manner that serves the interests of Western countries, primarily the US and Britain.

They all aim to plunder Yemen’s oil and gas resources and divide Yemen, starting with the announcement of the US-Saudi aggression on Yemen eight years ago, leading to conflicts between their mercenaries who are basically the tails of the occupation in the southern governorates.
 
The conflict between the US-Saudi mercenaries in all the occupied governorates and in Shabwa in particular is not new. What is new is that this conflict in this exporting oil and gas governorate has reached its maximum limits. The battle between the Saudi-backed “Islah” party and the mercenaries of the Emirates, with their different names, has become a battle.
 
The ridiculous and disgusting thing is that the fighting over Shabwa governorate aims to control the oil wealth and pour their returns into the pockets of Saudi and UAE occupation forces, while the mercenaries gain nothing but death and shame.
 
Military expert and analyst Colonel Mujib Shamsan says: What is happening today in Shabwa governorate is part of the scenario prepared by the aggression since it started these changes to remove the so-called legitimacy of Abd Rabbo Mansour and the formation of the so-called Presidential Council.
 
Shamsan indicates in an exclusive statement to "Almasirah" newspaper  that this step came after a step taken by the Saudi ambassador, Al-Jaber, through his meeting with a number of the leaders of the Council. He declared the removal of the "Islah" party and the empowerment of the UAE-backed General People's Congress and returning it to the fore.
 
He continues, " this plan represented enabling Daesh and Al-Qaeda to control the Abyan, Shabwa and Hadramout Governorates, as they are oil-wealthy governorates. Daesh and Al-Qaeda and the rest of the terrorist organizations are the tactical tools to control these regions by the US and UK.
 
Shabwa has turned into the preferred destination and arena for conflict for the greedy colonial forces, hoping to reap future gains. This race intensified in light of the increase in the global need for oil following the crisis of the Russian-Ukrainian war, where it witnessed several visits by US officials along with a number of ambassadors of European countries in recent months.
 
For his part, the Undersecretary for Economic Studies and Forecasts at the Ministry of Planning and Development, Dr. Adel Al-Hoshabi, points out the importance of Shabwa governorate for Yemen and the region, which is considered the third largest governorate in terms of area. It is approximately 50 thousand square kilometers, and extends over the sea with a beach of about 300 km in length on the Indian Ocean.
 
In his words, Al-Hoshabi affirms that the real essence of the fighting and the ongoing conflict in Shabwa governorate has geopolitical, economic and military dimensions, the most important of which is to legitimize and expand the influence of the Southern Separatist Transitional Council, at the expense of other forces in the arena.
 
He adds: "The imposition of a kind of political, military, economic, social, and security instability in Yemen in general and the eastern and southern governorates in particular, aims to weaken Yemen and increase the pace of plundering its wealth. The US-Saudi aggression fights all potential resistance or opponents of the projects of colonial agents.
