News - Yemen: Yemen’s Ministry of Interior offered thousands of martyrs in maintaining security and stability during the US-Saudi aggression, the Deputy Interior Minister confirmed.

"Before the September 21 revolution, the country lacked security and stability in light of the spread of assassinations and  banditry, in addition to the expansion of the crimes of takfiri groups," Major General Abdul Majeed Al-Mortada told Al-Masirah on Thursday.

Murtada added that the parade sends a message of reassurance to the Yemeni people that the security forces are present to defend their security and rights.

He explained that the message to the enemies from this parade is that their plans have failed, and the bets on striking the home front will not be successful. He indicated that the aggression targeted the security establishment with the aim of disturbing public tranquility and spreading chaos.

"TheLeader's willingness to contribute to security cooperation is a message that expresses his concern for the Nation's security and unity," he added.

Murtada pointed out that the areas under occupation live in a loose security reality, in contrast to the security and stability that the free zones witness.

Troops from various units of Yemeni Armed Forces have held a massive military parade in the capital Sana’a at al-Sabeen Square, the main square of national celebrations in the Yemeni capital, on Thursday with high-ranking political and security officials as well as senior military commanders in attendance.

In the event, overseen by the Leader of Revolution, units from different divisions of the Yemeni Army, including the Ground Force and the Air Defense, displayed their achievements.

A broad range of advanced equipment such as missiles, armored vehicles, rifles, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and air defense missile systems were put on display.
