Intelligence Sources: French Company Supplies Saudi Arabia with Drones
News - Yemen: Intelligence sources reported that the French company Azure Drones had received a request to supply the projects of Mohammed bin Salman in the cities of Neom and Al-Ula with drones.
The sources stated that Azure Drones is a small company based near the city of Bordeaux, and it will provide drones aircraft with the "Skytech" system to the two Saudi cities.
The intelligence website stated that the company will deliver two planes at a cost of $250,000 to NEOM, a smart city project estimated at $500 billion, and two other planes to the Royal Commission for Al-Ula.
In March 2022, Jean-Marc Crippen, CEO of Azure Drones, signed a strategic partnership with Turki Maatouk Al-Thunayan, CEO of the National Security Services Company (SAIF), owned by the sovereign Public Investment Fund in the Kingdom.
Al-Thunayan concluded the deal after the Public Investment Fund assigned it to find appropriate security mechanisms for bin Salman’s major projects.
The sources indicated that Jamarius Consulting played an important role in providing Azure Drones to “Saif” in June 2022.
Jamarius is located in the business park in the southern free trade zone of Dubai, and has become partly home to the UAE's drone industry.
The consulting company, Azure Drones, previously helped sell the first drone in the Middle East to Dubai Police.
