State of No Peace Nor War Is Extension of US-Saudi Aggression Against Yemeni People

News - Yemen: The Deputy Chief of Staff, Major General Al-Moshki, explained that we are living in a state of no peace and nor war, indicating that if the enemy wants peace or otherwise we are ready, and fighting the battle of liberation and national independence.

Al-Moshki stressed that the armed forces will not hesitate to carry out the tasks and duties assigned to it in defending national sovereignty.

For its part, The Deputy Prime Minister for Security and Defense Affairs, Lieutenant-General Jalal Al-Rowaishan, affirmed that options are open in the face of US-Saudi aggression to restore rights, and these options stem from the fact that the Yemeni people are in a position of self-defense.

"The goals of aggression still exist despite the international truce and the state of no peace and nor war that we have reached through the occupation of the land, the economic war, and the siege on airports and ports," said the deputy prime minister.

He pointed out that the military option exists to break the economic war and break the siege on Yemeni airports and ports, pointing out that the defeat of the Yemeni people through the blockade and economic war is a pipe dream, and the aggression coalition must wake up from those dreams.

A UN-brokered truce lasted for six months in the seven-year-old war waged by Saudi Arabia and its regional allies supported by US and western countries against Yemen.

The truce, however, expired amid the Saudi-led coalition’s constant violations of the agreement and its refusal to properly lift a siege that it has been enforcing against Yemen since the beginning of the war.

Although the US-Saudi aggression seeks to extend the truce, it with UN complicity, is still evading the implementation of humanitarian and legal entitlements, foremost of which is the paying employee salaries and entering fuel ships to the port of Hodeidah, which made Sana’a refuse to extend the temporary truce.

The head of the National Delegation Mohammed Abdulsalam censured the aggressor coalition for failing to renew the truce deal and deteriorating the humanitarian crisis in the country as a result of its intransigence and disavowal of measures that alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
