News – Yemen: The official spokesman for Ansarullah, Mohammad Abdulsalam, congratulated the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, on the 35th anniversary of its launch.

"The Palestinian people were and still are fighting the battle to liberate Palestine, all of Palestine, and the Hamas movement carried the burden of its people and nation", Abdulsalam said in a tweet to him.

He pointed out that the deterrent force that Hamas has achieved against the Israeli enemy is a matter of pride.

Earlier, Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar on Wednesday called on Palestinians to resist “Zionist fascism” and brace for “uprooting the occupation” as thousands took part in a mass rally in the besieged Gaza Strip to mark the 35th anniversary of the founding of the resistance movement.
Addressing the public function to commemorate the 35th anniversary, Sinwar said Palestinian resistance movements are facing an “open confrontation,” adding that the apartheid Israeli regime insists on “turning the battle into a religious war.”
Stressing that Palestinians must be fully prepared to defend the nation, the Hamas leader said "all resistance forces and our nation must be ready to…uproot the occupation," drawing applause from the crowd.
The rally in al-Katiba Square, west of Gaza City, saw the participation of thousands of Hamas forces and supporters as well as members of other Palestinian resistance groups and military wings.
Sinwar lauded the Palestinian resistance group Lions' Den — a newly-formed faction established to confront the ongoing Israeli aggression and killings — and said, “They are not only in [the occupied West Bank city of] Nablus but all over the nation.”
