Yemen:  The course of integrated confrontation with the countries involved in aggression on the one hand, and responsible engagement with any sincere efforts to make an honorable peace on the other hand, took a new dimension in light of the changes and Omani mediation.

That path was characterized by seriousness and rejection of the state of no peace and no war that the countries involved in aggression are trying to make as a fait accompli.

The whole world is well aware of Sana’a’s demands, which are, in fact, fair and legitimate demands, represented by paying employees’ salaries from oil and gas revenues, opening Sana’a airport, lifting the siege on the ports of Hodeidah, and ending any foreign presence on Yemeni lands. These just demands that affect the life of the Yemenis can only be opposed by an enemy of the people of Yemen and those who do not want to achieve peace and close the confrontation and war.

The countries involved in aggression take the slogan of peace and negotiations as a phased tactic behind which they aim to rearrange their cards to continue their aggression and their efforts to plunder the wealth of Yemen and control their sea outlets, islands and coastal cities. These are matters that the aggression bears the consequences of due to its insistence on continuing the war, the siege and occupation of the southern and eastern Yemeni governorates and islands.

Oman has made commendable efforts in its good offices to find opportunities to achieve a lasting and just peace that guarantees Yemen's security, sovereignty, unity, independence and territorial integrity. However, Oman’s praiseworthy efforts collided with the arrogant stance of the aggression and its local tools and hostile policy towards Yemenis, which is something that has become known to all internally and externally.

In general, the Omani mediation cannot achieve any success in its humanitarian endeavor to find an honorable way out for all from this prolonged crisis unless there is a response by the coalition to Sanaa's legitimate demands.
