News – Yemen: Yemen's Council of Ministers, in its meeting, which was held on Sunday, headed by Prime Minister Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, took a number of decisions related to the economic boycott of American, Israeli, Swedish, Dutch and Danish goods, as a response to their targeting Islamic sanctities.

The Council approved the boycott of American, Israeli, Swedish, Dutch and Danish goods, and any country that follows the same approach and disrespect Islamic sanctities in any way. The most important of which is the countries’ tendency to fight Islam and the clear and explicit hostility to its symbols and sanctities, as well as to commit these criminal practices under the protection of the official authorities in those countries.

It denounced the official positions of most Arab and Islamic countries and their disgraceful disregard for these violations, which clearly indicate their loss of control and their transformation into tools in the hands of the Zionist Western project, which works in every way to fight Islam and abuse its symbols and violate its sanctities.

The council praised the great stances of the Yemeni people who came out in that honorable manner to express their condemnation and denunciation of burning copies of the Quran in Sweden. In addition to their condemnation of insulting the Holy Prophet, proving that People of Yemen will remain a supporter of their religion and sanctities.

On Saturday, Parliament, headed by Parliament Speaker Yahya Al-Rai, denounced the negligent positions of the regimes, normalizing with the Israeli enemy, towards the countries that allowed anti Islamic acts.

The Parliament members agreed to call the Arab and Islamic parliaments by taking firm stances towards countries that protect the perpetrators of these crimes, and the need to take practical steps towards them.

The Council denounced the double standards in the policy of Western countries towards the attacks and violations against the Palestinian people.

It emphasized the right of the Palestinian people to defend themselves and confront the Zionist occupiers and herds of settlers by all available means.

Parliament members denounced the continued killings and violations committed by the Saudi regime against Yemen's and African immigrants in villages and border areas on an almost daily basis.

The Council renewed the call for parliaments in solidarity with the grievances the people of Yemen , and the constant bombing, siege and killing they are exposed to.

It held the US and Britain responsible for these crimes and gave the Saudi regime international cover and support for the continuation of committing more crimes.

Recently, Commenting on the crime of burning the Quran, Sayyed Abdulmalik said: "The Zionist-Jewish lobby is at the forefront of the enemies against Islam, the Qur'an, and Muslims in the world arena."

He explained that a large part of the activity of the Zionist-Jewish lobby targets us in our countries, as it is active in the US, Europe and various countries, considering that what we see of the crimes of burning the Noble Quran, which were repeated during the past years, is the biggest hostile act against Islam and Muslims.

“Burning the Quran represents a very great provocation and disrespect for Muslims, and it shows the extent of the evil forces’ annoyance with the Quran," he added.

He considered that the burning of the Quran in Europe comes in the context of their war on human society and their endeavor to separate Muslims from the Holy Quran and entrench hostility towards Islam, pointing out that the spread of Islam in European and non-Muslim societies aroused concern and annoyed the enemies of Islam.

Sayyed Abdulmalik also considered that the crime of burning the Holy Quran is a great targeting of Muslims, a war against them and the most sacred sanctities.

In conclusion Sayyed Abdulmalik called for boycotting the goods and products of countries that officially adopt hostile actions that offend the Holy Quran, Islam and Muslims.

He praised all those who took action and had a clear and courageous stance, starting with Yemeni people who went out in angry marches and strongly expressed their position in support of the Holy Quran.

A mass rally took place in several governorates, on Monday to denounce the burning of a copy of the Holy Quran by the tools of the Zionist Jewish lobby in Sweden’s capital of Stockholm.
