News - Yemen: Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein Al-Ezzi confirmed that the United Nations justifies blocking ships from entering Hodeidah port by not receiving the green light from Riyadh to carry out the inspection, in an explicit admission of its lack of impartiality.

“The UN justifies blocking the Angelina ship by not receiving the green light from Riyadh to carry out the inspection,” Al-Ezzi said in a series of tweets on his Twitter account on Sunday. “The UN’s justification is an explicit and shameful recognition of the lack of its impartiality and involvement in putting its mechanism at the disposal of the aggression to practice the blockade through it.”

“We are continuing with unprecedented rigor to end this farce, whatever the cost, seeking the help of Allah and then our people, in the strict measures that we will take,” Al-Ezzi said.

"We promise our dear and oppressed people that they will not continue to suffer alone indefinitely,” he added, stressing that there will be no hesitation in taking big decisions.

Earlier on the day, Al-Ezzi tersely stated that UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and his special envoy Hans Grundberg are officially accused of blockading the people of Yemen.

"The UN's inspection protocol in Yemen refused to issue a permit for a ship, without providing any explanation as to why," he added. "The arbitrariness of the UNVIM for ships will surely cost the United Nations a lot."

The Yemenis are waiting for the Sana'a leadership's response, by taking measures and actions, in response to the United Nations and the coalition's continued obstruction and interception of ships heading to the port of Hodeidah.

The spokesman for the National Salvation Government in Sana'a, Minister of Information, Daif Allah Al-Shami, has warned the countries involved in aggression against exhausting the patience of the Yemenis.
 
Al-Shami stressed that the coalition of aggression against Yemen is trying today to achieve victory through politics, prevarication and siege.
 
In his Twitter account, he wrote on Sunday that the aggression mobilized its forces, mobilized the world, but failed. He indicated that the United Nations is involved in war crimes against the Yemeni people.
