News - Yemen: The humanitarian aspect is a popular entitlement that has nothing to do with military or political negotiation, but the international community is still using it as a negotiating card until now, Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs Jalal Al-Ruwaishan confirmed on Saturday.

“We did not see clear seriousness in separating the Saudi position from the American desire, and this delay will not lead to a result,” Al-Ruwaishan said in a statement to Al-Masirah.

He added that the countries involved in aggression have returned to using the humanitarian issue as a card to obtain political gains.

He pointed out that the US agenda seeks to employ aggression against Yemen.

Al-Ruwaishan stressed that it is not reasonable or logical for the Yemeni citizen or even for the external observer that Saudi Arabia presents itself as a mediator after all its crimes and aggression.

“The aggressor turning into a mediator is not accepted by religion, logic, or reason. Therefore, Saudi Arabia must not assume a role that does not suit it, and it must lift the siege and remove its forces to get out of the impasse,” he added.

Al-Ruwaishan reiterated the readiness of the Armed Forces for the required position in the event of continued Saudi-US procrastination.

Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi had indicated that Oman is leading mediation and intensive efforts between Yemen and Saudi Arabia to stop the war, warning the countries involved in aggression that "patience will run out if they do not initiate a serious and practical understanding in the humanitarian and livelihood aspect."

He stressed "the inadmissibility of depriving the Yemeni People of their national wealth in entitlements related to salaries and public services."

Sana’a requires granting the humanitarian aspect, which includes the salaries of state employees, and lifting the blockade on Yemen’s ports and airports as a priority, stressing that the humanitarian issue is the key to the peace process in Yemen.

Although Sana’a did not provide a means to achieve peace, there are negative indicators from the countries involved in aggression. The first of these is the economic measures associated with raising the customs dollar, which aim to double the suffering of citizens. Then the US-European position declaring its support for the starvation war, and the subsequent statements and visits of European ambassadors to Aden. Before that, intensive meetings took place in Riyadh, all of which reflect the negativity of the Western position towards peace in Yemen.

Recently, the announcement of the establishment of a new Saudi militia affiliated with the mercenary Al-Alimi comes as a continuation of the series of creating new militias and tearing apart Yemeni society. This leads to conflicts that may result in the occupied governorates or what is related to any future escalation of the countries involved in aggression against Yemen.

Sana'a monitors everything related to the peace process, as well as, it follows up on any contradictory indicators, in the framework of high readiness to enter the path of peace or war. The ball remains in the court of the countries involved in aggression.
