News - World: Intelligence sources reported, Monday, that the former Saudi intelligence officer, Saad Al-Jabri, is doing everything in his power to release his son and daughter, Sarah and Omar, who are being held by the Saudi authorities, with the help of a lobbying firm with experience in dealing with the Kingdom’s issues.

The sources stated that the “Global Diplomatic Strike” company in Washington is working to urge the US administration to demand the return of the two sons of “Al-Jabri” to the United States, as they are holders of American citizenship, according to the French “Intelligence Online” website.

The website, concerned with intelligence, added that the company owned by “Robert Strick”, formerly known as “Sonoran Policy”, and its CEO, “Christian Borg”, signed a contract with “Khaled”, the son of “Al-Jabri” who lives in a suburb of Toronto, Canada, to help the “Al-Jabri” family get “Sarah” and “Omar” out of their prison in Saudi Arabia and bring them to the United States.

It is believed that the Saudi authorities detained the two brothers on charges of money laundering and attempting to flee in 2020 as a way to pressure their father to return to his homeland. Under his father's instructions, Dr. Khaled Al-Jabri is urging US lawmakers to press for their release.

Al-Jabri, who was a close aide to the former Saudi crown prince, Muhammad bin Nayef, is facing the pursuit of Saudi entities under the control of the current crown prince, Prince Muhammad bin Salman, to recover funds allegedly embezzled over several years.

Late last year, a court in Washington rejected a lawsuit filed by “Al-Jabri” against “Bin Salman,” claiming that he wanted to kill him, and the judge ruled that the court was not competent to hear the case.

Al-Jabri, who is 64 years old, left Saudi Arabia, or fled from it, to the United States in 2017, shortly before “Bin Salman” launched a massive “anti-corruption” campaign that included the detention of more than 200 princes, officials and businessmen in Ritz-Carlton hotel in the capital, Riyadh, on the grounds of their alleged involvement in cases of corruption and misuse of public funds.

Al-Jabri later moved from the United States to Canada, where his son, Khaled, who works as a cardiologist, resides in Toronto, the largest city in both Ontario and Canada.

Al-Jabri is considered one of the most important treasures of his country's secrets, and for many years he was the coordinator of the war against the takfiri "al-Qaeda" organization between Saudi intelligence and the "Five Eyes", an intelligence alliance that includes Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand.

Al-Jabri obtained a doctorate in artificial intelligence from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, and worked for more than 4 decades in the Saudi Ministry of Interior until he reached the rank of major general, and was the first man of Prince Muhammad bin Nayef.
