News - Yemen: The Director General of Al-Masirah Media Network Ammar Al-Hamzi confirmed on Monday that the media battle is important at this stage, and it is no less important than the military one.

In his speech during the first conference of the martyrs of the resistance media held in Tehran, Al-Hamzi explained that with the sacrifices of the martyrs of the resistance media, many achievements were documented and the facts were revealed. He stressed that one of the sanctity of the media front is that it made great sacrifices in the face of falsehood.

“On this day, we remember the martyrs of the free and honest word, the martyrs of the truth. We evoke their deeds that left a great impact and revealed many facts that falsehood wanted to falsify,” Al-Hamzi said.

He added that the martyrs of the resistance media vowed themselves and were in the first ranks to fight the tyrant. “Without their media work, many achievements would have been lost, many facts would have been falsified, and many crimes would have been hidden.”

“In Yemen, we have presented many media professionals as martyrs who were in the first ranks and reported this arrogant aggression, headed by the US, Israel and Britain. Saudi Arabia led this war and spent billions of dollars, but was unsuccessful, and the oppressed Yemeni People won,” Al-Hamzi added. "Had it not been for the martyrs of the media in Yemen whom we honor today, all these countries involved in aggression and the heinous crimes they committed with their deadly weapons and killing children, women and adults would not have been exposed."

The Director General of Al-Masirah Media Network pointed out that what indicates the sanctity of the media front is that it offered this pure blood, sincerity from it on the importance of the media in all its battles with falsehood, because the media is the spearhead in any battle with the enemies. He stressed that the media battle is no less important than the military battle.

The activities of the first conference of the "Martyrs of Resistance Media" kicked off on Monday in the Iranian capital, Tehran, with the participation of delegations and ministers from Iran, Yemen, Iraq, Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, and Afghanistan, and a large crowd of Iranian officials.
