In this context, the spokesman for the Peaceful Sit-in Committee for the People of Al-Mahrah, Ali Mubarak, denounced the visit of the US Ambassador, "Stephen Gavin" and the commander of the US Fifth Fleet, "Brad Cooper", to Al-Ghaydah Airport, which Saudi Arabia has turned into a military base.

He said in a tweets, "The visit of the US ambassador and the commander of the Fifth Fleet confirms all the warnings launched by the sit-in committee about the seriousness of the violation of sovereignty and the legitimacy of the occupation," stressing in this context Saudi Arabia's failure in Mahra, which is looking for an international supportive cover represented by the American forces.

He also held the presidential leadership council loyal to Saudi Arabia and the UAE responsible for this visit, which legitimizes the violation of the country's national sovereignty.

The US military moves in the governorates of Al-Mahra and Hadramout have escalated significantly and provocatively during the recent period, in parallel with the efforts of USA to thwart peace efforts and circumvent the demands of the Yemeni people and the requirements for a solution, including the complete departure of foreign forces from Yemen.

Earlier on the month, the leader of Revolution affirms that Yemeni military capabilities have greatly developed and accuses Washington of delaying the withdrawal of foreign forces from the country.

"The Americans, the British, the Saudis, and the Emiratis should know that they must assume their responsibilities within the framework of any agreement,” Al-Houthi stressed, adding, "The sources of wealth are occupied by the coalition and under its control, depriving the [Yemeni] people of them for 8 years.”

The Yemeni leader accused the US of trying to postpone the withdrawal of foreign forces from Yemen for an indefinite period, stressing that “this matter is essential for us, and we do not accept it."
