Yemenis' Steadfastness, Struggle, Awareness Achieved Great Victory in Face of US-Saudi Aggression
News - Yemen: The Director of the Office of the Presidency of Yemen Ahmed Hamid confirmed on Sunday that with the steadfastness of the people of Yemen, their struggle and their high awareness, they were able to achieve the great victory and become the focus of attention of the entire world.
"The Yemeni steadfastness told the world to move in the face of America," Hamed said in a statement to Al-Masirah Network. “We have made significant progress on the military level since the beginning of the aggression, and what we see of military parades is evidence that the aggression has increased our Armed Forces in presence and strength.”
And he stressed that our army today has become a manufactured nation, manufacturing its needs from bullets to drones and precision missiles.
He noted that the large and continuous presence of Yemenis in the fields of confrontation reflects their high awareness.
“Our people, with their active presence, confirm that the war will only increase their strength and presence,” he added. “The Yemeni People lead the people of the Islamic Nation in their awareness towards the issue of Palestine and the major issues of the Nation.”
He pointed out that the increasing popular presence in the field is evidence of their high level of awareness.
Saudi Arabia, backed by the United States and regional allies, launched the war on Yemen in March 2015, claiming the goal of bringing the government of former Yemeni president Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi back to power.
The US-Saudi aggression continues to target neighborhoods and populated areas and destroy the infrastructure and capabilities of the country, in light of a suspicious international silence.
The war has left hundreds of thousands of Yemenis dead and displaced millions more. It has also destroyed Yemen’s infrastructure and spread famine and infectious diseases there.
Large crowds flocked to dozens of squares in the capital Sana'a and all the free governorates, to participate in the major marches that started this Sunday afternoon, to mark the National Day of Resilience.
The crowd carries Yemeni flags, slogans of freedom, and banners that reject the US policy and condemn the US-Saudi aggression and blockade on Yemen.
