News - Yemen: The Minister of Defense, Major General Mohammad Al-Atefi, renewed his warning to the countries involved in the aggression against Yemen. He advised the US, Saudi Arabia, UAE to take the warnings of the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, seriously and to stop the aggression, lift the siege and leave all occupied Yemeni lands.

Major General Al-Atifi said, "We renew our warning to the countries of aggression that if they do not adhere to the warnings of the leader of the revolution to stop their aggression, lift their siege and leave the occupied Yemeni territories, they will regret a lot," stressing that "the next battle will be the battle of empowerment."

The Minister of Defense expressed the pride of the military leadership in the heroes of the Army and Popular Committees, adding, "We will be your support not only with the capabilities necessary to achieve military superiority, but also with everything to achieve independence." 

For their part, the individuals of Army and Popular Committees praised the visit of the Minister of Defense, renewing the covenant until achieving victory against the aggressive forces.

They expressed their congratulations and blessings to the leader of the revolution on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, stressing that they are fully prepared and ready to deter the enemies of Yemen and achieve comprehensive victory, regardless of the sacrifices.

In a speech on the occasion of the 8th anniversary of the US-Saudi aggression (National Resilience Day), Saturday, Sayyed Abdulmalik said: "Yemeni people manifested their steadfastness in a practical way in their patience, cohesion, and jihad."

He continued that our people suffered from the failure of their Arab and Islamic surroundings, despite the clarity of the grievances of the Yemeni people.

Sayyed Abdulmalik stressed that Americans, through their tools, seek to occupy Yemen and control the sources of its oil wealth and its strategic locations, to be used as military bases. He pointed out that the role of the traitors is similar to those who previously supported Britain in occupying part of our country, pointing out that the role of the traitors among the countrymen is within the framework of recruitment in the ranks of aggression in order to enable the coalition to occupy the country.

Sayyed Abdulmalik confirmed the alliance of aggression with its apparent failure, seeking other options and an alternative tactic, saying, "The regional countries carrying out the aggression, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, are aware of their involvement and losses without obtaining gains, while the United States, Britain and the Israeli enemy entity seek to keep Riyadh and Abu Dhabi stuck in Aggression".

He made it clear that America wants to keep Saudi Arabia continuing the war despite the realization that this will lead to more losses and economic and security consequences, indicating that America does not care about the continued involvement of Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and its focus is on its interests and gains.

Saudi Arabia, backed by the United States and regional allies, launched the war on Yemen in March 2015, claiming the goal of bringing the government of former Yemeni president Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi back to power.

The US-Saudi aggression continues to target neighborhoods and populated areas and destroy the infrastructure and capabilities of the country, in light of a suspicious international silence.

The war has left hundreds of thousands of Yemenis dead and displaced millions more. It has also destroyed Yemen’s infrastructure and spread famine and infectious diseases there.
