Human Rights Issues National Evidence to Documenting US-Saudi Aggression Crimes

News - Yemen: The Executive Unit of National Vision at the Ministry of Human Rights issued the national evidence for documenting crimes and violations of the US-Saudi aggression against Yemen.

The report, which was prepared for the workers, aims to enable them to identify the basic mechanisms and principles of the monitoring and fact-finding process, and to document violations in light of the continued US-Saudi aggression against Yemen.

The evidence also aims to strengthen and unify national efforts in the field of monitoring, collecting, preserving and documenting crimes of US-Saudi aggression crimes against humanity.

It contained five main chapters that included an introductory introduction and references to the most prominent crimes and violations of human rights committed by the US-Saudi aggression.

Recently, Rights group revealed the crimes of the US-Saudi aggression against the people of Yemen over the past eight years.

The Eye of Humanity Center for Rights and Development stated in its statistics that the total number of dead and wounded, during eight years, reached 48,394 martyrs and wounded, including 18,140 dead and 30,254 wounded.

It pointed out that the number of dead and wounded among children reached 4079 dead and 4790 wounded, among men 11603 dead and 22476 wounded, and among women 2458 dead and 2988 wounded.

The center pointed out that 15 airports, 16 ports, 346 power stations and generators, 617 networks and communication stations, 3095 reservoirs and water stations, 2105 government facilities and 7293 roads and bridges were targeted.

The Eye of Humanity Center reported that, during eight years of the US-Saudi aggression, 409 factories, 390 fuel tankers, 12,088 commercial establishments, 466 chicken and livestock farms, 10,279 means of transport, 485 fishing boats, 1020 food stores, 427 gas stations, 704 markets, and 1040 trucks were targeted.

According to the statistics, 603,110 homes, 128 university facilities, 1,714 mosques, 384 tourist facilities, 417 hospitals and health facilities were targeted, in addition to targeting 1,265 schools and educational facilities, 11,350 agricultural fields, 141 sports facilities, 258 archaeological sites, and 61 media facilities.

Saudi Arabia, backed by the United States and regional allies, launched the war on Yemen in March 2015, claiming the goal of bringing the government of former Yemeni president Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi back to power.

The US-Saudi aggression continues to target neighborhoods and populated areas and destroy the infrastructure and capabilities of the country, in light of a suspicious international silence.

The war has left hundreds of thousands of Yemenis dead and displaced millions more. It has also destroyed Yemen’s infrastructure and spread famine and infectious diseases there.
