News - Yemen: The National Committee for Prisoners Affairs announced the release of 77 prisoners of the US-Saudi mercenaries Thursday, implementing the directives from Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi.

The Prisoners Committee stated that the humanitarian initiative to release mercenary prisoners included dozens of patients and elderly.

The head of the Prisoners' Committee, Abd al-Qadir al-Murtada, expressed his hope that our humanitarian initiative would be met with a positive initiative from the other side towards our prisoners and for the success of negotiating the next exchange deal.

Earlier, it was concluded the implementation of the Ramadan deal for the exchange of prisoners, during which 706 of our prisoners were received, in exchange for the release of 181 prisoners from the other side, including Saudis, Sudanese and others.

The head of National Committee for Prisoners Affairs, Abdulqadir Al-Murtadha, revealed that a future prisoner exchange deal will be concluded for 700 of our prisoners in exchange for 700 from the other side.

He reassured the families of the prisoners that we still have many papers to put pressure on the US-Saudi aggression and its mercenaries to release the rest of the prisoners.

On March 20, Al-Murtadha announced that an agreement had been reached to swap 706 of Yemeni prisoners in prisons of the US-Saudi aggression, in exchange for 181 prisoners of the aggression, including Saudis and Sudanese.
