News - Yemen: A tribal delegation from Abyan arrived in Sana'a on Thursday that included a large number of sheikhs, notables, and social dignitaries, amidst a wide popular reception.

He added: we hope that the southern governorates will enjoy security, safety and stability, as we see it in the capital, Sana'a.

For his part, Sheikh Al-Khidr Suleiman Al-Zamki said: We came to our brothers from the tribes of Yemen to prove that we are able to solve our problems by ourselves without any external interference. Pointing out that the Yemeni tribes were known for unity, which prompted them to visit Sana'a.

Earlier, the head of National Delegation Mohammed Abdulsalam confirmed on Wednesday that Sana'a welcomes all those who come to it from all governorates.

"By convergence of everyone on one homeland and one citizenship, aggression will be defeated, Yemen will be victorious, security and stability will be achieved, and peace will prevail," Abdulsalam added.

He pointed out that Sana'a, by confronting the US-Saudi aggression, defended all Yemen, and its greatness is for its people, its steadfastness and its victory are for Yemen.

The Abyan tribes sent a delegation of their sheikhs and notables to Sana'a to mediate for the release of the captive Faisal Rajab, after the US-Saudi aggression and the Saudi-backed government abandoned his inclusion in the prisoner exchange list.

The southern delegation coming to the capital Sana'a on Wednesday received an official and popular reception by eminent official and tribal figures.

Sana'a welcomed the delegation, consisting of tribes, sheikhs, and dignitaries of Abyan governorate.

Major General Faisal Rajab was left out of the prisoner exchange agreement by the countries involved in aggression.
