News - Yemen: The governor of Aden, Tariq Salam, called on the southern political and social parties to unify ranks and sit at the dialogue table to prepare for the tasks of the next stage to achieve peace, security and stability.

According to the "Saba" agency, the governor of Aden explained that Yemen, especially its southern part, is witnessing complicated circumstances that resulted in catastrophic results and tragedies that exacerbated the suffering of citizens.

He added that the separation between the parties enabled the US-Saudi aggression to plunder Yemen's wealth and destroy all aspects of life.

He expressed the hope that everyone would feel their responsibility towards the homeland and the Yemeni people, who have suffered and are still suffering from the aggression and occupation.

Recently, the head of the National Committee for Prisoners’ Affairs, Abdulqadir Al-Murtadha announced that the prisoner Rajab was handed over to the tribal sheikhs of Abyan, Shabwa and Al-Baidha, under the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi.

Faisal Rajab is a prisoner with the Yemeni Armed Forces. The US-Saudi aggression and the Saudi-backed government abandoned his inclusion in the prisoner exchange list.

In January 2022, the Head of the Prisoners’ Committee, Abdulqadir Al-Murtadha, confirmed that the US-Saudi aggression targeted the house of the high profile war prisoner, Faisal Rajab, directly. In a surprise to everyone,  instead of demanding or accepting its release in an exchange, the US-Saudi airstrike killed members of his family.

Al-Murtadha revealed the criminal tendency of the US-Saudi aggression, which does not take into account the sanctity of anyone, even the closest mercenaries working for it.
