News - Yemen: Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Ali Al-Mushki, affirmed that Sana'a is serious about peace, which is not available to the other party, represented by American obstruction and Saudi lack of seriousness.

He stressed that the armed forces are ready to proceed with consolidating peace on the ground and ready to return to fighting.

He noted that talking about a cease-fire before implementing the provisions of the humanitarian issue is premature, while welcoming the efforts of the UN in this context.

For his part, the military advisor to the UN representative gave an explanation of the international role to stabilize the cease-fire if it was reached in Yemen.

The meeting reviewed the general situation of the existing truce and the provocations of the US-Saudi aggression, including the human tragedy that the people of Yemen are living under siege.

Recently, the minister of defense, major general Mohammed Al-Atifi, called on Saudi-UAE regimes to prove their good intentions by starting implementation of the conditions set by the supreme revolutionary, political and military leadership to reach a just and comprehensive peace.

The Minister of Defense indicated, during his Eid visit to Kamaran Island, that any attempt by the US-Saudi aggression to escalate or plunder wealth and foil a political solution, the Armed Forces are ready to thwart these attempts and protect national sovereignty.

He explained that the Zionist enemy is pressuring the aggression coalition to implement its plans and agenda of expansion, control and occupation.

He said, "all the enemies’ plans failed and all their plots turned against them until they were convinced that they would not be able to confront the Yemeni People."

Major General Al-Atifi praised the Naval Forces and Coastal Defense in the field of training, qualification, armament and development.

For his part, the Chief of Staff of the Naval Forces, Brigadier General Mansour Ahmed Al-Saadi, confirmed that the naval and coastal defense forces have military capabilities that enable them to protect Yemen's territorial waters.

He added: "We are ready to engage in any combat naval battle at any time."
