News - Yemen: The Minister of Defense, Major General Mohammad Al-Atifi, and the Chief of Staff, Major General Muhammad Al-Ghomari affirmed that the unity of Yemen and the safety of its lands is a red line, confirming that the Armed Forces are ready for peace as much as they are ready for war.

Al-Atifi and Al-Ghomari pointed out that Yemen’s unity is a historical achievement that expresses the free Yemeni will that will not be affected by the small projects of some.

They confirmed that the Armed Forces are monitoring the US and Zionist moves and interventions in the region, which aim to obstruct peace efforts and divert their path in order to return to war, stressing that the US-Saudi aggression seeks to tear up national unity and continue the unfair siege.

They added that the current opportunity for peace is the last for the US-Saudi aggression, because what comes after it will be ended by the Armed Forces God willing.

They reaffirmed the supportive position for all major issues of the Islamic nation, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause, as Palestine is exposed today to the worst types of criminality by the usurping Zionist entity.

They also affirmed the readiness of the Armed Forces for all options to defend Yemen, its unity, sovereignty and all its achievements.

Earlier, President Mahdi Al-Mashat affirmed that the Yemeni Unity should not be a matter of disagreement or conflict, but rather it should remain greater than all persons and parties, and greater than all differences and conflicts.

President Mashat indicated that the 33rd anniversary of the blessed Yemeni Unity comes at a time when the country is exposed to plots and suspicious projects that seek to undermine it by further dismantling and tearing.

He affirmed that "the 22nd of May reminds everyone of the safe passage and the only lifeline, which is the return to unity, intimacy, and brotherhood."

President Mashat pointed out that unity is a stable destiny in the depths of peoples and a voice that does not leave the conscience of the Nation, regardless of the size of the difference between the one people and one nation.
