Mahrah Governor: Yemen Unit Belongs to All Yemenis, Not to Be Affected by Mercenaries

News - Yemen: The Governor of Mahrah Al-Qutabi Ali Al-Farji affirmed that the Yemen Unity belongs to all Yemenis and will not be affected by a group of mercenaries who betrayed the homeland and served the occupation to implement its agendas.

Al-Faraji stressed that unity is linked to the will of the entire Yemeni People, who have proven to the world their ability to confront the fiercest aggression and thwart all its conspiracies.

He considered that the Yemen Unity is the most important historical and strategic achievement for the Yemeni People and an urgent necessity to confront the projects of division and fragmentation.

The Governor of Mahrah pointed out that the 33rd National Day of Yemen, in May 22, this year comes in light of the conspiracies the occupied governorates are witnessing targeting Yemen, its unity, security and sovereignty.

He considered that all the efforts of the occupiers to undermine the Yemen Unity will fail, because the unity has taken root in the minds and consciences of all Yemenis and has been baptized with a lot of blood and physical sacrifices.

Al-Faraji pointed out that unity is the title of the Yemeni People's steadfastness and cohesion in the face of all the conspiracies of the skeptics.

The Governor of Mahrah warned the mercenaries of aggression and occupation against persisting in targeting the Yemen Unity that the Yemeni People sacrificed and struggled to achieve, from Mahra in the east to Hodeidah in the west, and from Aden in the south to Sa’adah in the north.

The national day of Yemen is known as Unity Day. It commemorates the unification of North Yemen and South Yemen that took place on May 22, 1990.

Calls for secession are growing louder, particularly in Aden and other major southern cities that are now controlled by the Emirati-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC).

As part of attempts to control Hadramout governorate and include it in the secession project, Saudi Arabia and the UAE attempt to drag the tribes in this governorate into the ranks of the separatist scheme through negotiation with the Hadramout tribes.
