Iran’s Minister: Iran Defense Ministry Capable of Producing All Military Equipment Required by Armed Forces
News - Middle East: Iran’s Defense Ministry is capable of manufacturing different types of military equipment to meet all the needs of the Iranian armed forces, Defense Minister Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Ashtiani says.
“Our armed forces are equipped with the most advanced equipment to counter threats at the borders,” Ashtiani told Fars news agency on Monday in response to a question about recent border incidents.
Late last month, two Iranian border guards were killed and two civilians wounded during an exchange of gunfire after armed Taliban forces launched an unprovoked attack on a border outpost in the southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan.
