News - Yemen: The Ministry of Human Rights has condemned the Swedish officials for allowing extremists to burn copies of the Holy Quran, with the protection of the Swedish police.

In a statement, Saturday, the ministry denounced the Swedish officials' encouragement of extremists to commit these violations that deliberately offend Muslims' feelings and their sanctities

The statement pointed out that this abusive act exposes the falsity of claims to respect the other and undermines the foundations of coexistence, dialogue and building to promote international justice and peace.

The statement warned against provoking the feelings of Muslims, anti-Islam, and escalating hate speech against them under the pretext of supporting freedom of expression.

The Tribal Cohesion Council called on all the tribes of Yemen and the Islamic nation to activate the weapon of boycotting the products, goods and commodities of countries that allow such bad practices, and to confront its by various means.

For its part, the Political Office of Ansarullah said in a statement: The burning of the Holy Qur’an coincided with the performance of the pilgrimage by Muslims, in which disavowal of the enemies of God is a goal.

He believed that silence on such violations of the sanctity of God's book, the Holy Qur'an, is a great crime and a serious negligence, calling on Islamic countries to cut diplomatic relations with Sweden.

The political office of Ansarullah also called on the people of the nation to boycott Swedish, American and "Israeli" goods.

Sweden regularly brooks and even approves of such acts of sacrilege under the banner of tolerating "protests."

In January, dual Danish and Swedish extremist Rasmus Paludan burned a copy of the Holy Qur'an in front of the Turkish Embassy in Stockholm, and later again in front of a mosque.
