Al-Qaeda Launching Drone Strikes, US Made them Stronger in Yemen

Yemen: Al-Qaeda admitted to launching drone strikes and armed operations against the UAE-funded “Southern Transitional Council” factions in the governorates of Abyan and Shabwa.

The organization announced its responsibility for detonating three explosive devices in the Mudiyah district of Abyan governorate last Thursday, which killed Jaber bin Abdul Qawi al-Fahha al-Yafi’i, the staff of the first battalion in the Third Brigade, and injured seven others in the Mudiyah district of Abyan governorate, southern Yemen.

The organization confirmed that it had carried out an air attack by drones targeting the “Shabwa Defense” forces, Thursday, in the Al-Musina’a area in the Al-Saeed Directorate of Shabwa Governorate, according to what was reported by the pro-STC journalist “Asim Al-Sabri” on his documented account on “Twitter” this evening, Friday.

The attacks of the terrorist elements left about 80 dead and wounded of the transitional forces in the governorates of Abyan and Shabwa from the beginning of last January until June 21, including 22 dead and 31 wounded in Abyan, and 6 dead and 21 wounded in Shabwa, according to what the Transitional media reported.

The organization carried out 31 attacks, including 17 attacks with 18 explosive devices, and the use of drone technology in 5 air attacks in Shabwa, in addition to 5 operations by its armed elements in Abyan and Shabwa, during which they attacked points belonging to the Transitional Council.

This comes after al-Qaeda obtained a large shipment of drones, following its implementation of an armed ambush, which managed to seize a truck loaded with drones in the Badarat area, west of the Al-Wadiah border crossing with Saudi Arabia, at the end of last December. It was on its way to Marib, in coordination with leaders of the Islah Party, to be transported to an unknown destination.

Recently, Among the heaps of failures of the US-Saudi aggression, the takfirist Khaled Batarfi appeared, in a new video, reminding the world of the remnants of al-Qaeda and its roots that Washington clings to to perpetuate its existence and justify its suspicious activities and conspiratorial schemes to control Yemen's coasts, islands, and oil wealth.

Over the past five years, many Western and local press reports revealed a close link between terrorist organizations and the US-Saudi aggression in Yemen. However, the continuous expansion of these terrorist organizations confirms that Washington has not taken any measures to limit the exacerbation of the threat of terrorist groups in Yemen.

The recent movements of the terrorist members of “Al-Qaeda” and “Daesh” and the bloody conflicts between the armed factions of the US-Saudi aggression in the occupied governorates have raised concerns.

Fueling the conflicts of terrorist organizations and the armed coalition factions “Islah, the Transitional Council, and the Guardians of the Republic” comes within a vague scheme that the colonial powers, led by the US and Britain, are seeking in the southern and western governorates of Yemen.

What reinforces the hypothesis of the American conspiracy to activate terrorist groups in Yemen is that these groups are present and active in the areas of its control, including the Bab al-Mandab Strait, southern and eastern Yemen.

The interests of the US and the US and their tools intersect in the region, who have been waging an aggressive war against the Yemeni people for eight years, with the aim of subjugating the besieged country, controlling its decision-making, and controlling its sovereign wealth.
