News - Yemen: Member of the Supreme Political Council in Sana'a, Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi, considered the recent US military activity in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden as a direct escalation. Al-Houthi pointed out that these activities confirm the clear aggressive intentions against Yemen. 

Informed sources had recently revealed US moves to deploy forces in the Gulf of Aden. In a new visit by US Ambassador Stephen Fagin to Hadramout, he held a meeting with the Saudi-appointed governor, Mabkhout bin Madi. This comes as part of intensive US moves to thwart any paths that pave the way for peace, and to perpetuate political and regional division in a way that serves its interests.

The American moves in Yemen's coastal governorates, headed by Hadramout, which is rich in oil wealth and extends over an important coastal strip, confirms the reality of the suspicious American role represented by the ambitions to control Yemen’s wealth and its sea ports.
   
Within the framework of the visit, Fagin held a private session with Ben Mubarak, the latter says that it dealt with many issues, including security, the coast guard and combating terrorism, and these issues are the false titles that the US uses to to justify its illegal presence in the southern governorates, and consecrate its hegemony over them, while its tools welcome that.
  
In the same context, the suspicious American moves cannot be separated from the division project that Washington is seeking to achieve in Yemen, by activating the independent separatist tendency in the governorate in parallel with the transitional project in Aden and other southern governorates.

In front of this reality, it is proven that the American moves on the ground contradict any efforts aimed at peace, which Washington pretends its keenness by words only. The Yemeni People undoubtedly reject these moves, and see them as nothing but an occupation that must be confronted by all means, and the Americans have no choice but to obey the will of a people whom they have tested their jihad over nine years.
